Chapter 5

Ezra P.O.V

After the Inquisitor leaves the cell I sit up and try to clear my mind, No, Do, or do not, there is no try. I didn't realise how much the Ghost crew means to me until now, but I release that every word was true. These guys were my family, and now I have admitted it, I have to stay true to it. But do they feel the same way about me? 'of course they don't, or they would have rescued you by now' a voice said in my head. 

"Thats not true!, it can't be." I try to convince myself something I don't believe.

Kanan P.O.V

"I'm worried about Al, she hasn't come out of her room."

"Maybe you should take her mind off it love?" Hera says.

"Maybe your right, we'll be on top of the Ghost."

"Al, you in there?" no answers, so I enter.

On top of the Ghost (with Sabine, Zeb and Chopper)

I persuaded Al to train on top of the Ghost. (not that it was very hard, I sensed that she would do anything to get her mind of Ezra)

"Ok, lightsabers out, now close your eyes, feel the force all around you, let it penetrate you, clear your mind of all distractions, stay in the moment, be in this place, at this time. Allow the force to guide you to where the blaster shots will be, let her have it guy." At that moment Sabine, Zeb and Chopper start to shoot stun blasts at Aliza and she deflects or dodges all of them.

After five minutes I was about to call Sabine, Zeb and Chopper off when she opens her eyes for a second before she faints, but I got a glimpse of Aliza's eyes before she fell, they were pink. (Pink - having a Vision)

~~~~~~Vision~~~~~~

NO! STOP! PLEASE! (screaming stops) hears evil laugh.

"Weak, Pathetic, just like your old master, all the pain will stop in you join me."

"Never, I'll never join the dark side." 

"suit yourself" (screaming starts then stops) As if Ezra could see Aliza in the room as this takes place, he makes eye contact with Al and says in a low defeated voice

"Al, I'm sorry, I failed Kanan, tell Dad, I'm sorry, please forgive me." Then he fainted.

Aliza P.O.V

"DAD" I yelled as I sat up.

Kanan P.O.V

Aliza is yell and thrashing on my bed, she suddenly sits and yells "DAD!"

"Yea, hey, hey clam down your safe, its just me. ~'Had I just responded to Al yelling dad?'~

"Are you ok? What happened?" I continued.

"Oh, nothing, Just a vision." She answers quietly.

"I would hardly call that 'just a vision', You really scared me, yelling and thrashing around like that."

 "Oh, sorry Kanan," she says shamefully. 


"Hey, I don't want you to be sorry, I just want you to tell me what you saw." I say kindly.

"And why you yelled Dad."

Aliza P.O.V

I tell Kanan how I watched Ezra get tortured and how he copped, but I stop short when it came to what he said before he fainted, he had called Kanan 'Dad'.

"Al" Kanan asks, "What did Ezra say?"

"He said, 'Al, I'm sorry, I failed Kanan, tell Dad, I'm sorry, please forgive me.' He called you 'dad'."

Sabine P.O.V

"Hey, are you feeling all right?" I ask softly.

"yea. Hey Sabine?" She asks.

"Yea"

"Ezra described you guys as a family, his family, you as his sister, Zeb, his brother, Hera as his mother and, Kanan as his, his Father. I was wondering, what happened to your real family?" she blurted out.

"The Empire" came my response without a second thought,

"What happened to yours?"

"They refused to join, for seven years they got away with rebelling until..." She trails off.

"The Empire?" I asked. She just sobs.

"Come here" I say to here and before she can react I had her in a tight hug.

Aliza P.O.V

Before I knew it Sabine had me in a loving, sisterly hug saying to me,

"We've all lost family to the Empire, but thats what brings us together, as a family. You're a part of the Rebel family now too, you'll always be."

Hera P.O.V

"Why did you ask her" Sabine replies

"I don't know, I guess she reminds me of...

"Ezra?" I finish,

"yea, its like she's a, a gift." Sabine says softly.
