Chapter 2

~ Aphmau's POV~

I walked into my class room and looked around at the class as they all stared at me. I close the door behind me and saw Cadenza sitting by and empty seat...In the front.

" Hello, you must be Aphmau." The teacher said in a kind voice. She stood up and walked over to me.

" Umm, ya I am. Sorry for being late."

" Oh it is fine. Here have a seat wear ever you would like." She smiles and me and turn to go back to her desk. I walked over to Cadenza and sat down next to her.

" Wow, look who decided to show up." She said smiling at me as I put my bag next to me.

" Ya my alarm didn't go off." I whispered and looked to the front of the room." Well she is really nice." I said.

" Well ya she is. She is the nicest teacher in the whole school."

" What's her name." I asked

" Her name is Mrs. Zianna? I thought you knew her." She looked and me raising an eye brow.

" Why would I already know her?" I asked in a quiet voice.

" Wow Aphmau I thought you were the walking encyclopedia, but I guess I was wrong." She sighed." That is Garroth's mom. I turned to face Cadenza confused.

" Really? I thought his mom was in Meteli or something." I looked back at the board and then at the clock. Forty-five more minutes were left of class. Well I better hang tight and do...nothing.

When class was finally over Cadenza and I left to the gym on the other side of school. We were on our way when Cadenza stopped me and turned to face me.

" So what is the real reason you were late?" She looked at me and smiled." You can tell me, right?"

" Umm. My alarm did not go off. Like I said before." I said turning to her.

"No it is not the ONLY reason why."

" What are you talking abou..." My phone started to vibrate in my back pocket." One second Cadenza."

L~ Hi Aphmau its Laurance. I was wondering if you have your lunch period after period two.?

A~... One sec.

A~ Ya I do. Why?

L~ I was wondering if you wanted to sit with my friends and I?

A~ SURE! See you then I have to go or I will be late...Again.

L~ Haha. Is that the way you run your life?

A~ NO. Well see you later. Bye.

" Who was that?" Cadenza asked. Then she took my phone and read the whole conversation.

" CADENZA!" I slightly yelled at her. The blood rushed to my cheeks as she lifted her head up at me.

" Aphmau when did you meet my brother?" She asked wide eyed. I looked at her in confusion.

" That was your brother? I thought he was younger than you!"

" No he is my adopted brother. And you like him!"

" What why would you think that?" I said and I started walking toward the gym.

" You were completely flustered when you looked at your phone and you still are!" She said putting a finger in my face.

" Ok, ok you got me."

" Ya that's what I thought." She said in a sassy voice. She looked at her watch and theen at me her eyes wide open." We NEED to go or we are going to late!" She grabbed my arm and pulled me to the gym. We got there just in time but to my surprise there in the class with us was Laurance. I blushed when he saw me, and he walked over to us.

" Hi there Aphmau. Hey sis." He looked at me and then at Cadenza." Welcome to the worsed class in the world." He said in a sarcastic voice.
