Of course I told Aaron it was okay. What else was I supposed to do? I knew she would be happy with him but I also knew of the lies I spoke.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~"Of course it's okay," I said a bit muffled from my mask. My eye was the only thing visible like usual so nobody could see the real expression on my face. Under that mask I was heartbroken. I should have said something. I should have told her.When we had to pretend to be dating I couldn't move when she touched me. I was in a trance. She was just so cute and loving I could barely hide my feelings. If anything that disaster date only made my feelings stronger. I should have never fell in love. I guess it's too late now.
They finally left. It was only me Garroth and Lucinda left in our two shared rooms. My big brother didn't say why he didn't want to go to the show but I didn't care. Whatever the reason was I was going to go find something to cool me down I guess.No one saw me leave which was great because I look a bit crazy.
My hair is slightly messy and my eye is glazed from the few tears I let go to waste. Hiding my feelings is hard when they're strong.After searching for about fifteen minutes I spotted a sword fighting practice room. I have to put this sword to more use than stupid Aaron.
The whole room was filled with lanes and practice dummies. All of the lanes were backed up from this point of view. I quickly turned my head to see a blocked off area-- an extra lane. There was a wall between this one and the others so that meant if anyone walked near they wouldn't see me from the side. They could only see my back and that meant I didn't have to hold this stupid happy face anymore.
I walked briskly to the hidden lane passing by people of all ages and sizes waiting their turn to hit the dummies.
