I don't know why LIOTU even thought it was a good idea to host me as a lead, but I couldn't back up now. Neither could I point out all their flaws. For one, how do five people only in their early twenties pass as a Class A scientist, medical assistant, and soldier? My life was spiraling downwards into an abyss of weird and unexplained shit. Weirdly dressed girl warns me of my death, I die, then I don't die. Before this, I find myself almost killed by a lizard-horse, and saved by Faye with a frying pan. I don't believe her reason, her eyes looked to the side as she told me it. Her words quickened as if begging for her words to end faster. The last thing I needed was this, and despite my inner want for adventure and danger, this was hard to get used too. We walked up to a heavily armed gate like standard military units use. Tall, barbed wired, and probably electric. I started to feel panic settle in and my nerves and senses tingling. I was like spider man, only without the spider part... or man. If I answered their questions wrong, shit was going to go downhill, fast.

"Good morning," my soldiers greeted. They stood straight and looked confident. I felt envious. They probably did this a million times.

The four guarding the gate straightened up quickly seeing their stripes and stars and saluted, "good morning ma'am, and.. sir."

I quickly handed them my ID and they scanned it. For an awkward moment nothing happened and the soldiers looked at each other in confusion. I quickly jumped in.

"Are you new to this?" I tried to sound impatient. I figured I would have to act like I've been around the block as well.

"Sorry ma'am. We'll have to call this in, it's just protocol, you understand?"

My throat tightened, great. We barely made it past the first hurdle. We failed and now are going to die.

"We are on a tight schedule, can you please just try it again?" Faith hissed, putting her hand on her hip. Her eyes flashed with reassurance at me, but impatience  at the guard.

"Sure thing," The soldier nodded and scanned it again. The light flashed green, with a short accompanying beep before the door opened.

"Sorry, must've been a malfunction, or lag."

"No problem," I nodded and entered as they checked the rest. We stopped at three other checks, including DNA. I couldn't believe that we got through, it seemed impossible. I was scared shirtless too, I don't consider people pointing guns at me, friendly. We walked into the building, passing through it's reinforced doors and receiving a cold breeze. I took the time to spin around and question Faith.

"How did you get us through?" I shot out at them in curiosity. I was very impressed.

"Easy. I switched the information and DNA samples of my pick. I thought scientist fit you," Faith replied, and the rest nodded.

"But... how?"

Jake jumped in, "well, it obviously took a team of more than one to hack into the systems. We all worked together for it. Then we entered in the matching code of our DNA to their database. We changed the photo, oh, also the ages. However it's only going to work for maybe thirteen hours.. It then collapses on it's self so they cant pull our information from their records and find us."

"How, and when did you guys learn all your skills though.."

"It's a long story!" Rey laughed, and they all started to crack a smile, sharing the same inside joke.

"Well, shorten it?" I pleaded. Faith shook her head and smiled.

"Hey, lets focus on our mission at hand. According to their records, the 'TARDIS' is held in sector 41. There shouldn't be anyone in right now except a few guards on the outside," Faith reverted our topic smoothly, and quickened her strides.
