Sexuality

Ashley was just starting to come out about being pansexual. She had decided no matter what gender that shouldn't chose who u date. Although she hadn't dated a girl yet she was always willing to give it a shot if it was meant to be.

Cassy on the other hand had dated a female before making it clear she was bi. For year Cassy spent questioning her sexuality but finally came to the conclusion last year. The only problem was that she never came out. Only the friends that knew about the relationship with Kelly had known Cassy was bi. She never really felt the need to come out, not even to her own father.

Everyone had a different reaction when they first found out. Jen pointed out how it would be weird cause she'd never know if Cassy had a crush on her or not.  Taylor ended up finding out through Jen, surprisingly being pretty cool about it except she asked a bunch of questions.

The one that broke her heart though was when she told Rachael. Tears were poring down her face. It wasn't that Rachael was against it, but she feared the worst.

Rachael: Everyone will hate you. Kids at school will start to bully you and you'll be all alone.
Cassy: No, I'll have u, Jen, and Taylor.
Rachael: It will start to impact us and we'll start to leave you. We can't help it.
Cassy: No you won't.
Rachael: I don't want to see you get bullied.
Mascara started to trail down Rachael's face.
Cassy: I've been bullied before, it's fine.
Rachael: It will be everyone this time.
Cassy: That's ok, screw those people anyway.
Rachael: You don't understand, I've only ever seen it end in suicide.
Cassy: Rachael, you know how stupid I think suicide is. There is no reason to end a life. There is an upside to everything.

Soon Rachael had realized that there was no way to change anything. All she could do was be there for her friend. That was a year ago and now Rachael is probably the most supportive out of all of them. Even though they don't talk much about it.
