Chapter 8

The next day I was extremely exited.
Today would be the day I had my date with Michael.

I didn't know what we were going to do yet, just that I had to dress casual, not too fancy.

So I walked towards my closet, noticing I barely have actual nice clothes.
I actually only have 5sos merch, but it's kinda weird to go on a date wearing that.

I called out for Amanda, who came in very quick.

'Who's dead?' she asked.

'My closet.' I replied.
She gave me a knowing look.

'Okay, let's see what we've got' she said.

We looked through my and her closet until we found the perfect clothes.

I wore a pair of high wasted shorts, a crop top, showing a little bit of my belly, and a pair of heels.

I walked out of the fandom room, quite confident about my appearance.

Then I ran into Michael.

'Oh hey!' I exclaimed out of surprise.

'Hey! I was just going to pick you up! You ready to go?' He asked.

'Yea I'm good to go' I responded.

We walked outside, him being in front of me, and me following him.

At some point he stopped me, and told me to close my eyes.

'Why?' I asked laughing

'You can't know where we're going.' He said, pulling a blindfold out his backpocket.

'Okay' I said, still laughing a bit.

I closed my eyes and felt the blindfold around my head.
Michael took my hand and took me with him.

After 10 minutes, he stopped suddenly, causing me to crash into him.
We started laughing.
I felt pretty uncomfortable since I didn't see a thing, and barely knew this guy.

'Okay, it's time to reveal the special place' Michael said, trying to unknot the blindfold.

Once he succeeded, I saw where we were.

We were somewhere in the garden.
He prepared a picknick, including a blanket, food and drinks
He even put some flowers around the blanket.

'Wow...' I said, not being able to say anything else.
All my doubts were gone.

'You like it?' He asked.
I just nodded, not capable of saying something.
I was truly speechless.
No one had ever done something like this for me.

We sat down, and both took a glass filled with some coca cola.
We ate some fruit and started to talk.

'So, do like it here?' He asked me.

'I do, actually. I've made some great friends. I finally escaped from my parents and sister. I mean, don't get me wrong, they're amazing, I just barely have any privacy around them.' I said
He simply nodded

'I understand. My parents are very strict, so to be in a place where you can basically do anything you want, is great.' He said.
I didn't know what to do, so I nodded.

I noticed that our conversation wasn't going very well.
But I had no idea how to make it better, so I just accepted it and continued the awkward conversation.

'So... How are you doing?' I asked.

'I'm... Fine..' He anwsered.

We continued to eat in silence.
When all of the food was eaten, we got up and left.

'I had fun.' Michael said.

'Yea me too' I said.
Okay, maybe i hoped this date would've been more interesting, but we just don't have that much in common.

When I got back to the fandom room, Lili, Amanda and Rosie were already waiting for my arrival.

'And... And.... And? How was it? What did you guys do? Did you kiss? Please tell me you kisse.' Rosie started talking.

'Wow... Wow.... Wow... Okay to awnser your questions, we went on a picknick, no we did not kiss, and sadly, he was boring.' I said.

I heard some disappointed sounds comming from the girls, and I looked down.

'Hey hey girls, calm down. It's not Amy's fault he's boring!' Lili said.

I looked up and saw her smiling at me.

'No you're right, it's not. Sorry.' Amanda said, and I saw Rosie nodding in agreement.

'Thanks' I said to Lili, and then we a went in for a group hug.

Man, I wish I've always had friends like this.
