Anna's Pov
"He's Kevin's kid?!" I scream.
"Keep your voice down." Lala demands.
"I don't know how to tell Anthony and Joey moved out of the house. It's been so hard and I can't find Kevin to get tested." Nini cries.
"That sucks." I sigh. "What did Joey say?"
"He said he couldn't bare to look at me. That my face disgust him. He took the twins too." She sobs.
"Where did he go?" I wonder.
"He's been at his mother's house and he let's me see the twins when he comes to visit Anthony." Nini says.
"How long has this been going on? How is Anthony?" I ask.
"It's been going on like this for the past month and Anthony is getting worse everyday and they have him on a waiting list, but there are no matches." Nini starts to cry again.
"A month? Why haven't you told me anything?" I demand.
"You've been busy with the baby and Dwayne." Nini claims.
"I'm only five months pregnant, Nini. You could have told me." I say.
"Let's not fight about this guys." Lala says.
"I have to head upstairs for my appointment anyway." I demand as I get up and walk away from them. I can't believe Nini wouldn't tell me all the drama that she has been going through. I would have been there for her. She is my bestfriend for fuck's sake.
"Goodmorning Anna." Says Dr.Reed.
"Morning." I sigh.
"The baby is looking good." She smiles. "Would you like to know the sex?"
"Am I big enough for that yet?" I wonder.
"You are still kind of small for someone as far long as you are, but the baby is healthy, so I wouldn't worry." She says.
"What am I having?" I ask.
"Well if you look right there you can see the makings of a beautiful baby boy."
"A boy?" I ask.
"Yup."
"A little boy." I say as I smile and rub my belly. I am having a son. A healthy baby boy. After growing up with just me and my sister I guess a boy will do my family some good.

"It's about time you agree to talk to me." Dwayne says as we sit down in a booth at Dennys."I just didn't know what to say to you." I sigh.
"How about hey Dwayne, I'm having your baby." He says.
"Maybe if you didn't fuck up we would still be together and going through this thing together instead of me being alone." I start to cry.
"You didn't have to be alone. You chose to be alone. I would have been there for my son or daughter." He demands.
"Son."
"It's a boy?" He asks.
"Yes." I nod.
He takes my hands and holds them in his in the middle of the table. "Anna, we may not work as a couple, but this little boy will have the best parents possible. I will be there for you and him." He promises.
"Thank y-"

"Hello?" I say as I answer my phone.
"Anna, you gotta get to the hospital right now." Lala says.
"What's going on?" I wonder.
"Kevin showed up and he and Joey are about to fight and it's bad yo. It's like really bad. Get down here right now. Where are you?"
"I'm with Dwayne at Dennys. I'm on my way." I tell her.
"Okay good cause Nini bout to lose her mind." Lala claims. I hang up the phone and rush to my car.
When I get to the hospital Nini is crying into Lala's shoulder while Joey sits in a chair with his face buried in his hands. "What's going on?" I ask.
"Anthony's monitors started going off, so they rushed him into surgery and now they prepping Kevin for the bone marrow transplant." Lala says.
"That's good right?" I ask.
"Only if it goes well, but Anthony is so weak he might not survive it." She explains.
"I'm going to get some air." Nini sighs as she gets up and walks torwards the exit. I sit down next to Lala and she rest her head on my shoulder.
"This shit is exhausting." Lala sighs.
"I just wish we could help her." I say.
"Me too. This is really getting to her and Joey isn't even speaking to her. He filed for a divorce today and he wants custody of the kids." Lala informs me.
"Did they tell Anthony?" I wonder.
"They were going to before the monitor went off." She says.
"Why is this shit happening now? She had a happy family, husband, and three kids. I was happy and you was happy, but now everything is getting messed up." I complain.
"I am still happy. I don't know what you're talking about." Lala claims.
"I seen you kiss Tony outside your house." I inform her.
She gasps and covers her mouth. "You did not." She says.
"I did, so I kept driving. You should be more careful." I warn her.
"That doesn't mean I'm unhappy." I tell her.
"It kind of does. Happy people don't cheat. I learned that from Dwayne." I say.
"How are you guys?" She asks.
"We're having a son." I smile.
"That's a good thing Anna. Sons are the keys to their mother's heart." She tells me.
"I just don't wanna bring a baby into the world by myself." I tell her.
"You are not alone. You have me and Nini. We will always be there for you no matter what."
"Thank you."
"And there are a lot of single mothers in the world. Your son will be fine." She assures me.
"I know he will. I will make sure of it."
