So I will be working on the time lapses, just bear with me lol
I get caught up in the moment of the situation that I forget not everyone is inside my headAgain feedback greatly appreciated :)
Seven times today and I was so close to eating the damn grass. Michael Sawyer was slowly trying to break me but I was not giving up so easily. "Morgan, get back into formation!" Coach yelled from the sideline blowing his whistle. Even after scoring the winning touchdown in our district game on Friday, Coach was still on my grill about perfecting every play now that we were in the playoff's. "Morgan, you need to get past Michael! Don't let him intimidate you!" Leo snaps, getting into position. He was our star quarterback, breaking records all season. Scouts were looking at him from his every dream school so of course he was on edge. Once he hiked the ball, I took off, cutting right, the ball flying over my head into my hands. Instead of spinning left, I went right, finally breaking away from Michael and getting to the end zone! "Finally! Now let's do that ten more times!" Coach yelled. After three hours of drills, he finally let us call it a day. "Morgan, wait up!" Leo calls out, jogging up to me just as I got to the girl's locker room door. "What's up, Leonardo?" I say crossing my arms making him cringe. "You know I hate when you call me that," he says leaning against the door way so I couldn't pass. "I do..." He sighs, shaking his head. "I'm sorry that I snapped at you, okay? Things have been crazy since we won District. I promise its just the stress and nothing personal," he says," I know you got this so just keep your head up and don't let Michael get you down." Leo had been like Michael our freshman year, cutting me down and trying to get me to quit, but after we made varsity together, we became our own team. "I know he is just doing his job but I know he enjoys taking me down..." "He does, not gonna lie," Leo says shrugging," but we need him." I nudged him to the side, opening the door. I could hear the cheerleaders already inside and by the look that came across Leo's face so did he. "Don't even think about it," I say putting my arm out blocking his path," and don't worry about me. I know what I have to do." He grins, messing up my already messed up hair. It was really pixie cut short with grass and dirt clinging to it so all he was really doing was getting more dirt on my face. I smacked his hand away, rolling my eyes. He left, laughing finally letting me go change. The cheerleaders were almost all gone except for a few girls. "Morgan, I'm so jelly," Jesse says as I open my locker," I didn't think Leo could get any hotter and then he takes off his shirt during practice. You get to see that everyday!" I roll my eyes, grabbing my towel and shampoo. "Oh you know Morgan doesn't even notice anymore," Brenda says amused," she's grown immune." I tuned them out as I jumped into the shower, just wanting to get clean. "Omg! Did you hear? Eric Walker from South Keys is transferring to this school!" Stacy exclaims. "Isn't he the guy that trashed Bobby's lake house and broke two of Henry's ribs last summer?" Jesse asks. "Well yeah but he is also mega hot!" Brenda chimes in. "To me, he is mega dangerous. His got serious anger issues and attitude problems," Jesse adds. "I hooked up with him that summer," Stacy finally blurts out and that set of her friends. I just wanted to get out of there as fast as I could. My dad was probably waiting for me to go over the plays I learned and I had a ton of homework. The work of a champion was never done.
