ominous mysteries

unknown P.O.V

I walked through the woods with my book in my hand "it must be around here somewhere" I said to myself as I searched endlessly throughout the seemingly endless forest until I fell over a small ditch. I looked up to see a grey statue figure in a shape of a triangle with its arm extended out words, its hand open. it had one eye which seemed to search deep into your soul "found you" I smirked as I walked over to the statue "the time has almost come my friend and soon, you will be free..."

----the next day----

dippers P.O.V

I rolled about in my sleep only to wake up to a loud thud "dammit I fell off the bed" I groaned as I sat up and rubbed my head "well since im up, better get dressed" I yawned as I walked over to the bathroom and turned the shower on "it's Monday so that means wendy is working shift" I smiled to myself before I realised what I was thinking " nah man, she doesn't like you" I said sadly and continued to wash my hair "you have to move on" I stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my waist "time to get dressed" I said to myself as I  walked back to the bedroom.

"what time is it?" I questioned as I finished changing and looked at my alarm clock "ok it's 10:00, wendy arrives in thirty minutes" I brushed my hair and placed my trapper hat on my hair "done" I walked downstairs and into the kitchen to make myself some breakfast, I ended up cooking some pancakes for myself because I was starving and I heard the gift shop door open.

I looked at the clock to see it was only 10:19 "hello?" I called out as I walked through the door straight to the gift shop "hey broseph mind helping me with these bags?" an all to familiar voice said to me and I smiled "mabel!" I said and I hugged her "whoa whoa dipper calm down!" she exclaimed as I hugged her tightly "im so happy that you're here!" I said as I let go and she giggled "it's all thanks to dad" she picked up one of her bags and I lifted the other two, we walked upstairs and into our old room.

mabel set her stuff on her side and I fixed my bed "damn dipper I've missed this room" she said as she flailed her hands up in excitement "yeah I have as well" I said calmly and I looked at the clock "dammit! it's 10:35" I stood up and ran downstairs into the gift shop and grabbed the broom "dipper you're five minutes late" soos said as he was leaning on the door frame "sorry" I rubbed the back of my neck "mabel came back a few minutes ago and I took her upstairs" soos smiled "really!" he walked upstairs and I could hear them talking "broham!" soos shouted and I laughed.

"so Mabel's back too?" I turned around surprised to see wendy sitting at the counter flipping a page in her magazine "yeah, it actually surprised me" I laughed and began to sweep the floor. after I finished sweeping the floor business was booming so I had to help show people around the gift shop "hey dipper I've got to go to the toilet, can you cover the register while im gone?" wendy said as she stood up "sure thing" I sat down at the register for a few minutes before a small girl on her own walked up to the register.

"u-um excuse me sir c-could I buy this please?"she said and I could see she was 13 and very shy "sure thing!" I laughed and I looked at the hat to see it had a blue pinetree symbol on it which made me smile "I used to have this when I was younger" I said to the small girl and she looked at me surprised "r-really? what happened to it!" she asked me and I sighed happily "when I was thirteen, there was this girl I liked and we swapped hats at the end of summer" I pointed at the hat I was wearing and the girl stared at me in awe "wow, did you tell her how you felt?" I smiled at her "sure did but got rejected, you see she was twoyears older than me, I was thirteen and she was fifteen" I rubbed the back of my neck.

"aww that sucks, I've got this boy I like but im too scared to tell him how I feel" she looked down at the floor and I shook my head "don't worry about it, im sure he likes you back dude" I ruffled her hair a little and she looked up "you think he does? he's been my best friend since I was five" she sighed and I held my fist out in a fist bump "im sure of it" she smiled and bumped my fist "thank you!" she gave me the money and put the hat on, then walked away...

Wendy's P.O.V

I walked out the bathroom to see dipper talking to a girl at the register "when I was thirteen, there was this girl I liked and we swapped hats at the end of summer" I smiled but felt a little disappointed when he said liked but I shook it off 'he's grown up a lot since I last saw him' I thought to myself as I listened to the conversation and saw them fist bump 'that kid reminds me of dipper when he was younger' I smiled to myself as she walked away.

three years ago...

it had been three week since dipper and mabel left gravity falls and I feel a little better. I was asked to clean the shop by soos as we were refurbishing it since stan and ford left, I was upstairs cleaning the loft when I looked at the twins old room "it wont hurt to take a look" I said to myself and I opened the door. the room was really empty on Mabels side and on dippers side as well and I had a look about "wow it's so empty" I said in awe before I looked under dippers bed to see a brown box "what's this?" I opened the box to see a bunch of paper and a couple of photos of me and dipper "whoa" I picked up a yellow piece of paper and read it.

I read it a couple more times and gasped "I knew he had a crush on me but I never new he liked me this much!" I was awestruck at all the crossed out sentences and I new he wanted to give me this "if only I could tell him how I really felt" I sighed to myself before I picked up the pictures and looked through them. there were some of me and some with me and dipper, there were some of us with tambry, lee and Thompson as well. I realised that I didn't have a picture of him so I took one of me and dipper together...
