a cliché adventure

dippers P.O.V

I walked out the shack and proceeded through the woods "turn left and there should be a cave entrance" I said to myself as I followed the directions of the map which led me to what I was looking for "found ya" I smiled as I walked over to the entrance of the cave "hope Mabel's found wendy..." I said sadly and I shook my head "I don't have time for that I've gotta find that ruby sapphire!" I said out loud and I stepped into the cave...

mabels P.O.V

I walked through the woods trying to find wendy "wendy!" I called out but to no avail. I walk around for what seemed like forever till I found a lake "it's beautiful" I said in amazement but I was snapped out of my awe when I  heard someone crying.

I looked around and followed the sound before I found myself under a gigantic tree "wendy?" I said and she looked up at me, her eyes were puffy and red with tears streaming down her face "go away" she said to me but I wasn't having any of it.

I sat next to her "im sorry" she looked at me "why?" I sighed "we didn't tell you the truth and we lied instead" she looked out to the lake "it's ok I understand" she sighed 'she's taking it really hard' I thought to myself.

"dipper is really worried about you, you know that right?" she looked at me with a confused look "why is he worried about me?" she asked and I smiled "well because he's your boyfriend" her face went a bright shade of red "w-what do you mean he's my boyfriend?" she exclaimed.

"you'll understand soon" I said with a sly smile and I stood up "come on lets go back to the shack" I put my hand out and she took it "ok" we walked back to the shack holding hands and she held my hand tight "it'll be alright wendy" I said and she stayed quiet "dipper will fix everything" I said with hope 'I hope he's alright' I thought to myself as I opened the door to the shack...

dippers P.O.V

"HOLY SHIT" I yelled as I ran from arrows being shot at me from all directions "I know the map said booby-traps but this is insane!" I said as I got behind cover and waited for the traps to finish. finally the traps died down and I stood up following the directions of the map.

*click* I looked down and I noticed that I activated another trap "oh-" I was interrupted by a boulder coming straight my way "fuuuuuuuuuuuuck" I said in disbelief and I ran the opposite direction. the worst thing was it was catching up to me "crap!" I looked ahead and saw a pit "how am I gonna jump that!?" I moaned.

"guess I've got no choice" I jumped and I just made it over the pit landing on the edge of the pit "that was close" I looked behind me and the boulder had fallen into it "glad that's over" I turned around and continued walking "this has been really cliché" I said to myself and I looked to the left to see a table with an adventurer hat and also a whip.

of course I done what any normal person would do "nope!" and I continued walking. I finally made it to the room and I was glad to see the ruby sapphire was in the middle "finally found it!" I said in excitement and I grabbed it *rumble* the pedestal the sapphire was on sunk into the ground and disappeared "that's not good" I said as I put the artifact in my bag.

I turned around and the door was closing "oh come on can I get a break!" I ran towards the door and slid under it before it shut but as fate has it my hat fell off "shit!" I reached my hand out and grabbed the hat before the door shut and pulled it back right before the door shut.

"now that, that was really cliché" I sighed but I couldn't stop because the cave was shaking "not good!" I kept running and I had to run through the arrow trap again before I exited the cave "never ever doing that again" I said as I tried to catch my breath "now to save wendy" but what I didn't know was what consequences would come next...
