movie night fright

dipper's P.O.V

wendy walked over to the cash register "thanks for covering my shift" she smiled as I stood up "don't worry about it" I began to walked away when I heard her call out "hey dude, wanna come over for movie night?" I turned around surprised "really?" she nodded and I smiled "yes!" she shook her head and laughed "you never change" I shrugged "guess I don't" I walked upstairs and into me and Mabel's room "I heard everything" she smiled excitedly "what?" I giggled and she placed her hand on my shoulder "you still have a crush on wendy" my eyes widened and I blushed a little "n-no I don't" mabel raised an eyebrow and placed her hands on her hips "fine I do, are you happy?" she nodded and I groaned "if you say anything then you are dead to me" she held her hands up "I promise I wont say anything" she giggled and I lay down on my bed.

I was looking through my phone when I suddenly remembered something "oh yeah mabel?" she diverted her attention to me as she put down her DS "what's up?" I leaned over to my desk and grabbed the note wendy gave me three years ago "you know what this says don't you?" she looked at me with a worried look "no I don't" "yes you do" I replied and she pouted "do not" do too" she looked away from me "maybe" I stood up "I knew it!" she sighed in defeat "but im not telling you what it says" I stopped cheering "what, why?" she picked her DS back up "because you should ask wendy what it says" I looked at the clock to see it was seven "shoot! im gonna be late for movie night!" she shook her head "you better get going" I put my shoes on and walked over to the door, I was gonna say bye but she yelled "finally! I caught mewtwo!" I shook my head and walked out the room...

Mabel's P.O.V

dipper walked out the room and I stood up "uh bro-bro I love you and all but you can be so dense" I stretched before walking downstairs "hey soos" I waved to soos and sat down on the couch "hey
bro-ham where's dipper?" he asked "oh, he went to Wendy's for movie night" soos nodded and flipped through the channels "whoa, they're doing a twenty four hour marathon of ducktective!" I smiled "wanna watch it?" soos's eyes lit up "let's do it!" we began to watch the tv and I smiled 'good luck bro' I thought to myself and I focused on my all time favourite show ducktective...

dipper's P.O.V

I walked up to Wendy's shack with the note in my pocket, I knocked on the door and about a minute later wendy opened the door "hey dipper, come on in" I stepped inside and it was freezing cold "jeez wendy it's pretty cold in here" I held my arms for warmth "yeah the heater broke down so we have to make do with the fireplace, come on upstairs" I followed her to her room where it was even more cold "dude, pick one" she held three movies in her hand, one was saw, the other was the hills have eyes and the last one was scary movie "let's watch saw" I said and she nodded "I haven't seen saw so this'll be good" I sat down on her bed and she put the movie on.

"hey dude, its pretty cold so we will have to share" she held a big blanket in her hands "do you have another one?" I asked slightly blushing "n-no" she stuttered but I dismissed it "alright then" I took my shoes off and we wrapped up in her black blanket "this is really cosy" I said and she nodded "yeah, my mom gave it to me when I was younger" I nodded slowly and the movie began. I've watched saw countless times with mabel but Wendy's never seen it before, I looked over to see her shaking in fear "hey wendy, you alright?" she looked at me "y-yeah of course! pfft why wouldn't I be?" just then someone died from a trap in saw and wendy screamed.

I began to blush as I felt her arms wrapped around me and I could feel her shaking "it's okay wendy, it isn't real don't worry" she whimpered "shut up" she borrowed her head into my chest which made me blush even more "can we stay like this?" she asked and I nodded "sure, gimme a sec" I positioned her on my lap and wrapped my arms around her "this is more comfortable" she nodded and we continued to watch the movie. during the movie she jumped and got scared a few times but I was there to make her feel better, the movie ended and I looked down to see that she had fallen asleep.

'should I wake her up?' I thought to myself but I dismissed it, I tried to move but I couldn't because she lay on top of me "looks like im spending the night" I said to myself as I lay on my back "goodnight wendy" I said and I kissed her forehead before I slowly drifted to sleep...
