You sat on stage beside your boyfriend, answering questions.
"You've been on this cast for 5 years. Did you expect to stay this long?" An audience member asked you.

"Definitely not. I thought I'd be in a couple of episodes then get killed off, like pretty much every character. But each season my contract was renewed and each season it was a huge shock. But I'm really happy I've been able to stay for this long and hope I have a few more seasons to come." You replied.

Suddenly (your favourite cast member) stood up.
"There's a question I'd like to ask my beautiful girlfriend." He said, walking over to you. He keeled down onto one knee just in front of your seat, and pulled out a ring.

Your eyes filled with tears and you put a hand over your mouth.

"(Y/n), ever since I saw you for the first time, sitting in the corner of a room, flipping through your script and singing quietly to yourself, I knew there was something different about you. I love you so much. I love your eyes, your hair, your sarcastic attitude. I love everything about you. Even the things I say I don't, like your constant swearing or the way you drum on the table when you're bored. Because, all of these things make you, you. The love of my life. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. So (y/n) (y/l/n) will you marry me?" He asked.

You nodded frantically, tears falling from your eyes.
"Yes. Yes. Yes! Of course I'll marry you." You yelled.
He placed the ring on your finger and stood up, you pulled him into a hug, almost making him loose his balance.
"I love you so much." You told him.
"I love you too babe." He said, kissing the top of your head.

The audience exploded into a chorus of claps and cheers. One loud squeal caught your attention.
"My OTP is engaged. Oh my god! I ship it so hard!"

The pair of you laughed, and as you looked at him you realised this is the happiest you had ever been. And that maybe, just maybe, happy endings do exist.
