I was just sitting in my room when it all happened. My room was a mint green with silver trimmings. It was my entire childhood. I saw pictures of me and my friends before this all happened. I didn't think I would be back here again. But here I am. I see my old dog, Besty, in the window. I wish she could see me. But I know she can't. If she could she wouldn't have recognized me. I don't look the same anymore. My look was completely different. It was weird seeing my reflection in the window, it just didn't seem like me. ----------------------------- 11 months ago -------------------
"Yeah right", I shouted running in the halls. Today was the day the 8th graders went to DC. I was lucky I guess. I had to stay. My friends were leaving in a few hours they would be gone for the next 5 days. As I was shouting bye to Gloria, I was walking out of the building. I just hope they stay alive. I went to the front of the school to get picked up by my sister. I saw Dicax,my friend for the past year and I shouted for her attention. We then walked to the cars together.
"Bye see you in five days don't forget to text me every day."
She got in her dad's car.The last time I would see her in 5 days. I then headed to my sister's car and we left. When we were in the car I was rereading my books about elements, probably my favorite myth besides dragons. We got home and I did my homework and laid in my bed wishing it wasn't a myth and I would be told it wasn't right now. I was reading one book for the 3rd time and suddenly it hit me. A bat.
