Ele: Ava Unda

The light

I woke up with a banging sensation in my head. I tried to recall what happened to get me out of my room, then I remembered. I was hit by a bat. Then suddenly I realized where I was. In a cage! I am not an animal but they put me in a flipping birdcage. These people act like I will murder them for thinking about me and that irratates me a lot. After about an hour a little girl comes in, with a quiet gentle voice. She has food on a tray with her, I suddenly feel very hungry as she sets the tray down.

"Hello?" I ask her. She just walks out and away,without giving me so much as a glance. I gulp down the food hoping it isn't poisoned. As suddenly as I felt the hunger earlier, I feel sleepy. I head over to the cot I woke up on. As soon as I lay down sleep over takes me.

I wake up and hear a scuffling.
Suddenly out of nowhere I see a women walk up,odd, her hair was a silverish blue and she had purple eyes,she finally spoke after staring at me for sometime,she said

"You scared her half to death Pons."

A man who looked like he was in his 30s stepped forward and claimed it wasn't his fault.

The woman spoke now
"I'm sorry little one. He didn't mean it. Now may I ask, who are you?"

"That depends, who are you?"

"My name is Eliza. Now who are you?"

"My name is Ava, Ava Unda. Why am I here?"

"You have something we need" said Pons

"Well just tell me what you want and I will give it" I said to Pons and Eliza, knowing I was rich and could afford everything,

"Well it's not that simple. We need your powers."

I snorted,"Me,powers, yeah right."

This time the woman spoke up saying in a very harsh tone," How could you be so disrespectful. Not everyone has powers, you know."

I replied with my usual sassiness, " Well I didn't know that, thank you very much. Why do you need my , quote on quote , powers. Isn't there someone else to steal them from."

"No no sweetie, you have powers no one else has. You can morph."

I can't believe her, she is lying to me....right. I really hope she is. She then goes on to tell me my special power is that, not only can I morph, but I can morph into a dragon. I think, if I can change into a dragon why don't I then fly away. But the only problem is I don't know how to morph. I automatically think of all the stories I've ever read,no,no,no,I cursed in anger.

"Now now, that is not the way to act," She says like she's my mom.

This time Hammerhands, as I nicknamed Pons, speaks up and says,

"We will teach you how to use your powers, but in time."

He then tosses me a little bracelet with "Hakuna Mitata" engraved on it. A plain silver band with two words. I slip it on my wrist not wanting to be rude, because I do not want to die on my first day in this cell. The bracelet tighten on my wrist until my hand let feeling then realesed my hand.

"That will happen every time you try to escape. Learn to not try."
