Jane's pov

My friend Riley comes to my house and we skate to school. The roads aren't really flooded anymore but the river under the bridge sure is. We get to school and start skating we are doing the dance challenge( in the picture) and then if we win this we win. We do and get two trophies. By the time the composition is over we head to class. When I'm in class I notice Travis isn't there. The teacher walks in and says the things we will do. She doesn't even notice he's gone. The bell rings and we turn in our assignments. When we walk out I notice Caitlyn is upset. " she said her brother volunteered for the army and is really heart.", Riley says to me. Oh. Is all I can say.

It's lunch and there's still no sign of Travis. Now I'm starting to think I upset him.

Jane's pov
At school

   The teacher comes in and says," ok I know you noticed Travis wasn't here yesterday and isn't here today.  Well that's cause he was is hurt." My heart goes blank. Hurt that's probably cause of what I said." We don't know if he'll be ok. We need all of you all to pray. Thank you. You'll are dismissed from my class and school for our loss of student we will send your homework by email. Plus we are sending you home cause there is a storm coming and it will flood us in.

On my way home it starts to sprinkle. I walk and walk until I'm home. My whole family is there. " Jane you know How Travis is... Hurt.", my dad asks. Ya.?.? " well he was on his way home when it was raining and couldn't see and he was um hit by a car. He's in a coma and they don't know if he'll wake up. I run to my room sad and scared. The one guy I have ever liked might.... Die.
