Gabriel is dancing in his seat behind Victor to a popular pop song.

"Come on trouble! Dance with me!" He says laughing. I giggle and shake my head continuing to watch him. He sings a few lines and I sigh at the sweet sound of his voice.

We're just heading back from shopping at the mall and I'm tired but starting to catch my second wind.

Victor makes a stop at a red light and reaches for my hand.

"Did you have fun today?" I nod enthusiastically even if I am tired, I am grateful he took me shopping.

He smiles at me and looks at Gabriel in the mirror.

" I'm glad, for a second there I thought you were getting bored." He says, the light turns green and he starts the car moving again.

I turn in my seat so that I can watch Gabriel dance, even confined in the small space he seems to be able to keep the grace and beat of the music.

Victor drives for a couple minutes before pulling into a stop sign and sighing. His dad has been giving him a hard time lately. He starts the car moving again and I turn back to Gabriel, watching as he switches his dance moves to a different beat of the new song.

All of the sudden. He freezes and looks at me with terrified eyes, in the distance I here a loud horn.

"Sang!" Two terrified male voices shout at me. I feel Victor grab the front of my arm and try to pull me to him. And then the car is being flipped and pushed by a heavy force.

All I can hear is the sound of metal crunching and tires squealing. I feel pain in the back of my head and back as my head bounces off the seat.

And then everything goes black.
