Chapter Five

Quin P.O.V.

I wake up with Josiah in my arms. I slide out if bed making sure not to wake him. I walk into the bathroom by his room.

"My lip" I say to myself. I feel the back of my head and theres a giant knot. Good thing I have alot if hair.

I put the toliet down so I can sit on top of it. I text Jayla.

Me: John hit me and i'm not tryna make excuses for him but I think he didnt take his pills could that cause it?

Jayla: OMG Are you ok? and Bipolar disorder is a mental illness it doesnt nesscary cause it but many of the problems that come with bipolar disorder are the actions that it provokes so maybe it provoked him but he didnt have to do it. John isnt just bipolar though at our last session I found out that he has Bipolar mixed with Phycosis.

Me: i'm fine and phycosis?

Jayla: a severe mental disorder in which thought and emotions are so impaired that contact is lost with external reality. That mixed with his bipolar disorder is something serious. I cant help with that so I recomended that he checks into a mental hospital but he refused saying he was fine.

Me: oh god.. thanks jayla <3

Jayla: youre welcome boo <3

I lock my phone and go downstairs I see John cooking breakfast and I get scared when he looks at me.

"Can we talk?" he asks stiring the eggs.

"S-Sure" I stutter out of fear.

"Mommy are you otay?" Josiah asks hugging my leg.

"Mommys fine" I lie tickaling him. He laughs

"Good morning lil man" John says to Josiah. Josiah ignore him.

John clinches his jaw.

"Say goodmorning to daddy" I tell Josiah out of the fear that John would get livid.

"No he hit you" Josiah says crossing his arms.

"No he didnt hit me what are you talking about?" I lie hoping this will work.

"Lastnight I saw" Josiah says looking confused.

"You mustive been dreaming" I say sounding serious.

"I was dweaming?" He asks.

"Had to have been"

"Oh otay, Goodmorning daddy" He says smiling.

"Goodmorning lil man come eat" John says smiling. Josiah gets up and goes to the island I sit next to him.

"Thanks daddy" Josiah says praying for his food.

"Thanks" I say as John sits my food down infront of me.

"The both of you are very welcome. Now can I talk to you?" John asks me.

I nod and get up walking upstairs

"About lastnight I wanted to stop but its like my body wouldnt let me the littlest things piss me off" He says with his hands in his head.

"I know baby" I cry. John needs to check into a mental hospital. "I think you should go to a mental hospital"

"So you think i'm crazy ?" He asks clinching his jaw.

"N-No its just that-" He cuts me off

"Nah you think I'm crazy dont you?" He asks glaring at me.

"N-No"

"DONT FUCKING LIE TO ME! YOU THINK I'M CRAZY HUH?" He yells in my face putting me against the wall.

"No please stop screaming before Josiah heres." I say scared as fuck.

He sits down and starts taking deep breaths.

Jayla P.O.V.

KNOCK KNOCK

"I'll get it baby" Dj says answering the door.

"BESTFRIEND AND JDB" He yells.

"Quin?" I ask.

"I cant stay there not with Josiah atleast can yall watch him for awhile I wouldve taken him to my dad but he's on a cruise" Quin says looking down.

"Your lip" I say standing up.

"John hit you?" Dj asks.

"Yeah but-"

"Save it neither one of yall going back there I am." Dj says putting on his shoes.

"Dj you dont understand his disorder" I say in Johns defense. Johns disorder is more serious then they can begin to understand.

"And I dont give a fuck about his disorder maybe i'll beat some sense into that nigga"

"Daddy hit mommy I saw" Josiah says "But it was a Dweam mommy said so."

"Oh hell nah" Dj says walking out. Slamming the door behind him.

"I have to go back if I dont come home John is gonna get livid." Quin says shaking.

"Even if you go back he's gonna get mad somethings gonna trigger his disorder" I tell her.

"I love him w-why wont he just get help?" She asks crying.

"His phycosis causes delusions. He has a diffrent aspect of reality so in his mind theres nothing wrong with him" I tell her.

"Is dwaddy ok?" Josiah asks Quin.

"He's fine baby lets get you some rest" Quin says.

"You can take him any room upstiars" I tell Quin smiling. She goes upstairs and Quickly comes back down.

"I'm gonna see if I can get John backer acted" I tell her.

"Backer acted?" She asks confused.

"The backer act is a means of providing individuals with emergency services and temporary detention for mental health evaluation and treatment when required, either on a voluntary or an involuntary basis. So weather John wants to get help or not he's gonna have to go to the mental rehabilitation once and officer backer acts him." I tell her looking for a few numbers.

"That sounds like a plan" She says smiling.
