Minerva's Violin

Recovery Chapter 9

I am so sorry, the cliffhangers hurt let me heal you wound with a longer chapter than normal.

Minerva's POV

The bright lights of the hospital room blinded me as I opened my eyes to peek at my surroundings.

I wasn't sure what happened I remember hitting the concrete sidewalk after I was hit.

I sat up immediately and felt a throbbing in my head from the increased pressure, I ignored it and noticed my violin was gone.

The nurse came into my room
"You need to lay down." She said

"Where am I, What day is it?"

"You're at a hospital near the house we found you laying in front of." She said

"You have been out for awhile it's Sunday" she added

"Where is my violin."I asked

She looked at me like was crazy "You didn't have a violin on you, I think you need your rest"

She turned of the overhead lights and closed the door.

Where is my Violin!

Drew's POV

I hurried outside of Minerva's house and knocked on the door. It was cloudy outside so I wanted to get home before it rained.

It's a weekend she has to be home unless Charis lied.

Charis was my new best friend I met him in 7th period and we happened to have 8th period together.

We bonded quickly and he was a really nice guy.

"Who are you?" Said an older lady who looked nothing like Minerva

"Are Minerva's mother?"I asked

She smirked "are you that boy that Minerva hates? The mean boy, she has been crying all Saturday"

Minerva doesn't like me?

"Excuse me ma'am I didn't understand?"

"I Said get out We don't want you here!" She yelled and slammed the door in my face

And the rain started to pour down.

What? Minerva hated me?

Minerva's POV

I ran straight into this random guy

Who knew that random guy would become my friend.

"Hey watch it!" He yelled

He was so mean...

"Not my fault you can't look where your going!" I screamed back

So much for first impressions

"Hey what's your name?"

I sure had to try a lot to get his name

"I'm not here to flirt get out of my way" he snapped at me

I wonder if he likes me?

"Hey Minerva? Minerva!"
I heard a worried voice say.

Drew?

I blushed "Hi" I sat up and felt another shock of pain in my head. "Oww"

Drew put his hand on my shoulder and held me down. "You should stay down."

"Ha you care"I laughed
He turned beet red.

I winced "even laughing makes my head hurt"

"How long have been in the hospital?" He asked

"Nurse says I missed Saturday."
"I'll fill you in on what happened."
So I told him everything.

He stared at me in shock "Zelus  did what!"

He clinched his fist and left the hospital room.

"Wait Drew!"I called after him

He didn't come back.

This makes up for last chapter...
