Chapter 10

Kendall's Pov:

We sat on the football field in silence for a while. ''We should go back inside'' Cara said. ''You know 'Taylor, Selena, Gigi, Niall and Justin are probably wondering where we are''. Yeah you're right I said. We stood up and I looked Cara in the eye, I love you, I said. ''I know'' Cara said and smirked at me. ''I love you too kenny'' she said.

We got back inside and sat at our table with Selena, Taylor, Gigi, Niall and Justin.

''There you guys are'', Taylor almost yelled. ''I almost thought you girls were making out in the bathroom'' Justin said and laughed. ''Ha ha ha. Taylor said and gave Justin a look. ''You and you're dirty mind Selena said and playfully punched him in the arm. Taylor looked annoyed at Justin. What's up with you? I asked her. She knew she could trust me, she always tells me everything. ''I can't say it here'' Taylor said quietly. Okay well meet me after school in the parking lot then. I said to her. ''Okay I'll be there'' she said and walked off to her next class.

After lunch I walked Cara to her class. ''So you wanna hang out after school?'' she asked. Yeah sure, I gotta talk to Taylor first tho, she wanted to tell me something, just wait in school okay? I'll pick you up. ''Yeah sure, will do, I gotta go, goodbye love'' she said. Goodbye sweetheart. And she walked off.

I waited in the parking lot for Taylor, I was just about to leave when I saw her entering the parking lot. God why are you so late? ''Sorry Mr. Meyer thought it would be funny to let us stay longer'' It's fine, so what was up with you earlier today? Taylor was silent for a while. Tay, you can tell me everything, you know that. ''Yeah I know I just need you to promise me you won't look at me differently after I tell you this.'' What is it Taylor? You didn't kill anyone did you? She chuckled. She took a deep breath and said ''I think I'm kinda crushing on Cara'' She said. My head exploded but I was silent, there were so many emotions going on inside my head and I can't think straight. You what? I asked. ''I like Cara Kendall, and if you can't accept that I'm into girls too then leave!'' she almost screamed at me. No no no, it's not that, I'm glad that you're being honest with me. It's just ehmm.. Cara kinda has a boyfriend back in London. ''oh'' Taylor said. She looked hurt. I couldn't see her like this. Sorry... I said and took off.

I couldn't stop from crying, I don't know why but I lied to my best friend and she is in love with my girlfriend. Why didn't I just tell her. I am such an idiot. I got inside the school and saw Cara. We need to leave .. now. I said and grabbed her arm. ''Have you been crying what's wrong love? Should I tell Cara what happened?

We got into the car and just as I was about to ride off Cara stopped me. ''Are you gonna tell me what is happening or what?'' I took a deep breath my hands were shaking and my legs felt like pudding. ''Tell me Kendall''. Taylor likes you, I mumbled. ''what did you say?'' Taylor likes you.. I said louder this time. Cara was silent for a while. ''how did she react?'' React to what? I asked confused. 'Well you obviously told her we are together... right? I was silent.... ehmm I told her you have a boyfriend back in London. I looked at Cara, a flash of anger went over her face and she looked me hard in the eye and shook her head no. I couldn't look at her anymore so I looked down at my lap. I heard the car door open and then it got slammed shut again and Cara was gone.
