Chapter 20

Kendall's Pov:

Cara left my room and I broke down to the floor, I sat there with my hands in my hair crying. I sat on the floor for a while, then my door slightly cracked open. I saw Mason standing in the doorway, his tiny hands held his favorite stuffed animal. He walked over to me and hugged me. I quickly dried my tears. Hey Mase, I said to him. ''Where is Cawra?'' He asked. She left, I told him. ''Is that why you're sad?'' Yeah that's exactly why I'm sad I said to him and smiled weakly. ''I brought Mr. Bubs with me'' He said holding up his stuffed animal. ''He always makes me happy when I'm said, you can sleep with him tonight if you want to'' Mason said in a cute voice. I chuckled. ''Mason time for bed'' Kourtney yelled from the hallway. ''He's here'' I said to her. She walked into my room. ''Mason go get changed'' she said. Mason walked out of the room and Kourtney sat next to me on the ground. She hugged me and a started crying again. ''Hey, everything's gonna be fine Ken'' she wiped my tears away and I nodded slightly. 'Mom is talking to him downstairs, he has calmed down a lot.'' I nodded again and stood up. You should get Mason into bed, I said to her. She hugged me again. ''Stay strong Kenny'' and with that she left the room.

I laid down on my bed and just as I was about to fall asleep my dad came into my room, he sat down next to me on the bed and looked at me. The anger in his eyes was gone, the only emotion a saw in them was disappointment, I looked down at my lap. ''I want you to think about what you're doing with this girl'' he said soft but stern. ''I know she is going to talk you into things so I'm going to take your phone, meanwhile you're going to think'' he said. I nodded and gave him my phone. He stood up and walked towards the door. ''I'm really disappointed Kendall'' he said and left the room.

I walked to Khloe's room, I knocked on the door. Khloe opened the door and gave me a tight hug. ''Hey Kenny'' Khloe said. He took my phone, I said quickly.''Aannndd you want to call Cara'' she smirked. I laughed, yes I would love to. ''Come in'' she said and shut the door. Khloe gave me her phone and I called Cara.

''Hey love'' Cara said with her British accent that made me fall for her in the first place. Hey, I said quietly. ''Are you alright?'' she asked with concern. Yeah I'm fine, just a little sad. ''I wish I could see you''. I could hear the hurt in her voice. Yeah me too. I said. Listen my dad is out in the hallway, and he doesn't want me talking to you. I'm sorry but I got to go. ''It's alright love, I get it, see you tomorrow at school?'' Yeah definitely, I smiled and hung up.

I sat down with Khloe and we talked for a bit.

My father came into Khloe's room. ''Kendall I've thought about and made a decision'' He said, we both looked at him nervous. ''I want you to break up with that girl and I want it now, I want to make sure it happens so I'm going to call her and she's coming, you're breaking up with her. DAD YOU CAN'T MAKE ME DO THAT, I cried histiracly. ''Oh watch me, come downstairs now'' I walked downstairs and I sat at the couch. I looked at my mother, she looked back for a second but then looked down at her lap. I rolled my eyes at her.

30 minutes later the doorbell rang. ''I'll get it'' My dad said. I stood up and Cara walked in. She immediately gave me a hug. ''Khloe called me, say the things your dad wants you to say to me, I'll act along '' she quickly whispered in my ear. I was relieved.

It was silent for a while and my dad gave me a look. Cara ehm.. I began. ''What is it?'' Cara asked as if she suspected nothing. ''Cara I need to break up with you, this is not working out'' she was silent for a while. ''After everything I told you, after everything I... we have been through, you're breaking up with me?'' Yeah I said looking at the ground. Sorry. ''Why'' she said as a tear rolled down her face. Damn this girl is good at acting. We just can't be together, we can't. I said. ''Okay if that's what you want.'' She said and her voice cracked. She turned to my dad. ''Are you happy now?'' And with that she left the house.
