They led the couple inside the café. It was silent. When their blindfolds were taken off, the light was switched on and their guests shouted 'happy anniversary' in unison as confetti flew in the room.

"Let the party begin!" Severus announced into the microphone which received a loud cheer from everyone present and the band started playing. Severus had been right when he said Katalina and Soledad would turn the café into a disco. Not as loud but it certainly had the feel of being in a club, not a tea-and-scones café. Meredith and Severus then walked to every guest to talk to them. The food was great. The nuns even sang acapella, singing a medley of Meredith's favourite songs during her childhood. She cried during the whole performance, looking at the 5 aging nuns, inclusive of her namesake, all of whom had seen her grow up with love and care in the orphanage. They had been so cool to leave their nun uniforms for Cinderella's fairy godmother costumes tonight, Meredith could not have been more touched. Their other guests, all of whom were personal friends, took their turns to hold the mic to sing accompanied by the live band as everyone enjoyed themselves on the dance floor. Even Ron took the stage and presented a very hilarious stand-up comedy, of which Hermione was not amused because she was the one being made fun of. She wanted to hex him there and then but Minerva and Harry managed to stop her.

"Hi everyone," Meredith said into the microphone after a great session of dancing. Her husband was talking to Lionel and Bruce. "Thank you for coming tonight. The night is still young and we will continue dancing till tomorrow morning!" Everyone cheered energetically at the announcement, clear evidence that everyone was thoroughly enjoying themselves. She continued her speech, "Before we resume our party tonight, I'd like to call upon my other half to come here to the stage because..." She revealed a box of present in her hand, "...he had to open his present because I want everyone to know what it is." More cheering as Severus made his way to the stage.

"She just wanted to show off because I forgot to buy her a present," Severus announced playfully into the microphone.

"Oh! Come on, Sev!" some guys commented.

"Are you ready?" Meredith asked.

"Katalina, Soledad, this is not a prank, is it?" he asked as he remembered how mischievous the ladies could be.

"Just open it, Sev, before I hit your head with this Vodka bottle!" the almost-drunk Katalina shouted, which brought everyone to laughter.

Meredith handed him the box. Everyone was quiet, waiting to see what was inside the box. It was just a small box. He untied the ribbon and unwrapped the box. He opened it and inside, there was a white paper. Only that. He eyed his wife curiously with a smile.

"Read it," she said smilingly, excitement beaming in her big blue eyes.

He opened the folded paper and he read it. His expression changed.
