Happy Ending

"How could you?! Don't you realise?!"

Claire's dad: "?"

"If he can blackmail a grown man, imagine what he can do to a innocent high school girl?!"

Claire's dad: "!"

He shot up from his seat in shock and sudden realisation and rushed to his coat. And so did I. I wasn't going to sit around and watch Claire's life come to an end at such a young age.

[CLAIRE'S POV]

I gazed at the flowers which were presented in front of me. This park was beautiful. I couldn't stop looking around when Taisho stopped me.

"Yes?"

Taisho: "I know now you are being forced to marry me. But it is for your own good."

"I know..."

Taisho: "But i don't want you to feel that this was forced upon you. So..."he stepped down on his knees and pulled out a small black velvet box.

"!"

Taisho: "Claire, will you marry me?"

I guess i don't have a choice and it was really sweet of him to do this, despite the age. "Ye-"

?: "NO!"

Both me and Taisho turned to the voice and the whole gang was there with my dad and Jo.

"What going on?"

Jo looked at my dad and he spoke up.

Dad: "I don't want you to marry him."

Taisho: "What? Do you know what you're saying?"

Dad: "I do. And i don't care if you fire me; I'm perfectly capable of finding a new job. Just don't come near my daughter again."

"!"

Taisho: "I'd love to see you try." He replied back, almost amused by this.

"Did you say something to dad?" I stepped back as i asked him.

Taisho: "This changes nothing." He grabbed my hand. "I don't care if you quit or not but I'm not the type of person who listens when others decide to change their mind at the last minute."

Everyone started to argue all at once until Jo grabbed my hand and pulled me away from Taisho. Jo isn't usually violent so everyone was shocked.

Haru: "Jo?!"

Richy: "She's not a ragdoll!"

Jo: "I know, sorry." He let go of my hand.

Taisho: "Okay, so let's say i didn't marry Claire. Who will then? You'll never find anyone who can care for Rosie and Claire as much as me, or have as many luxuries to provide them with."

Ryu: "Are you joking right now? We've been watching you, and so far what you've done is boss Claire about and tried to scare her! You can't care for her! And it makes me sick knowing that you tried to scare her for a motive, and not just because of your sick personality!"

"Motive?"

Taisho shot Ryuzo a glare with which Ryu returned right back.

Jo: "She can marry me."

Everyone: "WHAT?!"

Dad: "Err...Jo no offense but you live in coffee shop."

Haru: "That's harsh."

Jo: "That's because i like living a simple life. I'm a Chakura though."

Taisho: "?!"

Jo: "How much is that ring worth? Only 5000 yen?" he pointed to the ring Taisho held. "Well..." he pulled out a small red velvet box and opened it to reveal a small diamond ring. "This is worth so much, it's considered priceless. It was shipped from Paris too. So if you want to have a competition about who's richer then be prepared to lose."

"!"

Taisho: "You're all no longer allowed to be here. And you're fired." He looked at my dad.

[TIME SKIP]

"Thanks for the save Jo. And dad...i'm sorry."

Dad: "For what?"

"For getting you fired..."

Dad: "No, i'm the one who should be sorry. My daughter should be worth more than a job."

Ryu: "I guess we all learnt something. I've decided to forgive my dad."

Ichy: "Really?"

Ryu: "Yeah. He really did stop drinking and never took any days off. He didn't mean to hurt anyone. He didn't have any motives. But that guy did."

Tak: "Comparing your dad to him, he's an angel."

We all chuckled for a bit before Jo spoke up.

Jo: "Claire...i wasn't joking either. It wasn't just to get you away from him. I really do come from a distinguished family and wanted to marry you."

Richy: "That's the worst and most un-romantic proposal i've ever witnessed."

*Laughter*

Haru: "You should've watched a few videos, so you know how to propose..."

They all fell silent and faced me, expecting an answer.

"Why would i say no?"

Jo: "!"

Ichy: "Jo hit the lottery."

Richy: "The jackpot."

Tak: "The man prize."

"Hey! Knock it off!"

[A/N okay okay, i know. The ending was rushed and cheesy and cliché. But i've lost motivation for this story and wanted to move on to my next story. It will be called 'Who Are You?' so look out for it! And this story: i added some ideas from others. I recently found out i'm not good at getting ideas from others and writing how my readers want it. That's why this story wasn't that good. I have hopes for my next story though; this story was hopeless lol :'D

I think next time i should just write my stories my own way...haha...nobody get offended please...]
