Chapter 4

Max POV
"Ross thank you so much, for helping me prep the food."
"I owed you one for pulling you away from the sexy girl on your lap." Ross smirked.
"You saw that?" I asked.
"A lot of it ye."
"I want to kill you so bad but I won't."
"Yay I live another day!" Ross exclaimed. I looked at the clock, it was 8:15!
"Ross you and Tim need to get going Ashley will be here in 15 minutes!"
"K. Tim come on its time to go!" Ross yelled down the hall. Tim came out of his room.
" I'm coming Ross." Tim said. it was 8:20 now and I got a text from Ross. (R-Ross, M-Max)
R- Don't forget to put the mac and cheese in the oven
M- I won't
R- just reminding you

Still Max POV
I was starting to worry about Ashley, it was 8:35 and she hadn't shown up yet. Ten minutes passed and there was a knock on my door. I answered it and it was Ashley!
" Sorry I'm late, my neighbor is a retired teacher and still enforces a dress length." She smiled. I looked at her dress it was short but it looked really really good on her.
"Why don't you come on in." I said
Ashley POV
I walked into Max's apartment and saw how nice it was. there was a nice couch a quaint little coffee table and a flat screen TV. And the whole apartment smelled amazing.
"Max what is that amazing smell?" I asked.
"Just some homemade mac and cheese."
" Oh my gosh yes!" I said before I kissed him on the cheek. I heard a timer go off in his kitchen and Max ran to the oven.
"FUCK!!" I heard Max yell. I ran in to see what happened.
"Max! Are you ok?" I asked almost yelling.
"I'm fine. I just burned myself."
"Do you want me to take a look at it?"
"No its fine." he said.
"Ok. Max where's the bathroom?"
Max POV
"I'll show you." I said(I couldn't think of an easy way to explain it). After showing Ashley where the bathroom was I noticed that she had left her phone sitting out on the table. I was shocked at what I saw on her phone. It was a note it said : 'I feel dead inside

I feel like everyone would be happier if I was dead'. By this time Ashley was out of the bathroom when I was done reading the note.
"Ashley what the hell?!?!" I screamed.
"This is before I met you." She was lying.
"This was updated today at 8:00!" She broke down crying.
"I'm s-sorry." I hugged her.
"Ashley I love you and I care about you." She buried her head into my chest and kept crying.
"Ashley look at me, I don't want to lose you." I let go and lifted her chin up and kissed her.
Ashley POV
Max kissed me again and I kissed back. After that I stopped crying. He actually loves me! I had thought that he was just teasing me. After I stopped crying, Max and I sat down and ate dinner. The mac and cheese was really good.
"Max this is amazing! I didn't know you could cook."
"Well I mean Ross helped." He said.
"Still this is great!"
After we had dinner and cleaned up it was late.
"Do you want to stay the night?" Max asked.
"Sure!" I said before I kissed him on the cheek, "I can sleep on the couch if you wa-" Max cut me off,
"Or you can sleep in my bed with me." I smiled at that.
"Ok but just so you know I like to cuddle."
"O-ok." He stuttered and smiled.
Max lead me back to his bedroom. "I'll be right back." I said and ran to the bathroom and got undressed but stayed in my bra and panties (both are lace). I walked back to his bedroom and leaned in the doorframe. Max looked over and turned bright red.
"What?" I asked. He stayed quiet.
"You like what you see?" He nodded. I walked over to him and kissed him passionately.
