/imagine meeting Elijah for the first time + accidentally moving in with him

The smell of blood and alcohol could be smelled from all corners of the Mikaelson house. It was strong, even without vampire senses.
Which is why Elijah Mikaelson was extremly concerned when he came home from his trip to find his brother had gotten himself into another drunken mess.

It all started about a day before Elijah returned when Klaus took a spiral. His heart got broken by another human girl he stupidly fell in love with which resulted in him killing her.
Klaus killed a lot of people. Even his own family. But nothing had prepared him for the guilt when he had commit this crime.
You had been her best friend, and with that you knew what Klaus and all of what Mystic Falls is. You had told her not to break it off with Klaus, in your opinion she had no reason to. Yet, she did it anyways, and when you witnessed Klaus kill her in secret, you began drinking vervain daily just in case.
It payed off though, because when Klaus came for you, out of pure hate, he couldn't drink from you without intoxication.

Now there you were, half passed out but fire still in your eyes. You were determined to get out of that damn house.
"C'mon, love. Just let me know why she left. I knew it was under your influence but I just want to know why." Klaus prodded, whispering into your neck. It made you shiver for all the wrong reasons. "I had no---" You were unable to finish the sentence for Klaus had plunged his teeth into your neck.
You felt blood drain from your body and you couldn't hold on anymore. Closing your eyes, you blacked out. Luckily, right as your body fell, Elijah Mikaelson walked in the door. And boy was he mad to see his brother had probably killed yet another innocent of Mystic Falls.

You were in immense pain and saw nothing but black. At least I know I'm alive. I feel pain. You thought to yourself. And then you felt water on your forehead. It was cold and moist and very sobering. Your eyes shot open to a hand hovering over your eyes with a wet cloth.
Slowly, you remembered what happened. In fear of immediate danger you sat up and bolted for the nearest door, to which you were easily blocked from. The man was tall, maybe an inch shorter from six foot. And extremely handsome. He looked into your eyes with concern as you struggled to get past.
"Im sorry if I have frightened you. I was just attempting to help you recover. In which i might add, I apologize for my brothers actions." The handsome man commented, looking deeply sorry for what had happened.
"Y-youre Klaus' brother?" You stuttered out, fear temporarily tranquilizing your ability to utter coherent words.
"Yes but I am not as savage as he or my other siblings. I am more civilized, I promise." he said. "I see. . . What's your name then?" Returned you, as which he replied "Elijah."
"Might I ask what your name is?" Elijah asked after walking you back to the couch you had been laying.
You gave him your name, Elijah had said how nice it was to have met you and immediately began apologizing for his brothers behavior. He also asked if he knew what he was in which you replied what you did. He then explained to stop his brother for a while, he did dagger him but not permanently so, Elijah took you to a secluded cabin he had been staying in to get away from his family.
When he had had enough of the secluded life, he returned home only to find the mess that was made, so he took you after he had daggered him.

"Wow. Was that necessary, though?" You asked, sympathy in your voice. "What?" Elijah asked. He was quite attractive and the accent. . . well, it made you weak inside.
"Daggering him. I mean that has to hurt." You said. Elijah smiled as if he wished to laugh but felt it was inappropriate.
"What?" You asked, confused on why he was holding back laughter. "Nothing, its just, youre too kind. I mean the man tried to kill you and youre worried he is hurt." Elijah giggled. You looked down and rubbed your neck, remembering the situation.
"Im sorry. Let me take you somewhere to eat. You must be hungry. It will take your mind off of things." Elijah promised, laughter dying out. And he did.
He showed you the most wonderful restaurant where you both ate. After getting back, he stayed with you for a very long while, knowing it wouldnt be safe to leave you by yourself.
You admired his protectiveness and thanked him in the most platonic way, even though deep down, you wanted to kiss him instead of buying him things for thanks.
And most times, he wanted to too. Elijah would see you walking around the house just doing whatever and he would want to just set his book down on the counter and follow you, grab your waist and kiss your neck. But he knew it was wrong, and after all, you were much younger than him, vampire and human years alike.

One afternoon, he couldnt hold himself back. It was a quiet sunday so you decided to stay home, same with Elijah. You were in a pair of shorts and a tank top, hair pulled back as you were cleaning.
Elijah was sitting at the kitchen counter readin in a tight fitting, comfortable white tee and blue jeans. You figured it was his only casual outfit.
You walked by and bent down, picking up a small piece of fuzz on the floor.
Elijah looked up just in time to see you bend over. Seeing your body bend in such a way made him go crazy unable to hold back.
He sped his way to you and made you stand upright. He smashed his lips to yours where you ended up in the bedroom.
After all that had happened to you, you wouldnt change it. Not for the world.
