I stared at the writing.

I had originally thought the box to be from Einar, but the handwriting on it said differently.

A strange feeling came over me. Maybe Einar just wanted to be more secretive so he had someone else write it, but that just wasn't Einar.

I tried to shake off the feeling of dread I felt. Today would be a celebration, and I couldn't let anything ruin that.

"Are you alright Solvi, er, Chief Solvi? You look kind of pale. Should I call the cleri-"

"No, no I'm fine." My voice cracked.

"Well, if you say so..." Gunne simply stated.

"Thank you Gunne. You may go." I gave him a reassuring smile. It was probably nothing.

Gunne gave a clumsy bow, nodding his head as he did so, then scurried out of the room.

I needed some fresh air. Going into the village might clear my mind from all this nonsense. I knew it was silly just to get worried over a package, but I couldn't shake the feeling that something weird was happening.

I placed the box on my vanity, grabbed the flowers i needed to deliver, and walked outside.

Since the Chief's hut was on a hill I could see until the far end of the forest. As soon as I was outside, all my worries melted away.

It was about mid-morning so most everyone was already up, save the elderly. Children scurried from hut to hut carrying goods their mother's had instructed them to deliver, and everyone was busy. It didn't matter who you were or your age, we were all busy with preparations, including me.

I had been given the task of picking flowers for the girl's to weave into crowns. I had spent all day yesterday picking wildflowers in the clearing. Later in the day Einar had even come to keep me company.

I sprinted down the hill; rejuvenated by the smells of food coming from the village. I wanted to find Einar before the warriors got back, but I had to drop the flowers off first.

Hey guys! Thank you so much for sticking with me this far. You all are fantastic!

My friend threw up at the museum today from playing bean-boozled. It was kinda funny, but not at all at the same time.
