Minutes before my father left for the exposition, he told me, "Solvi, through the peril and the storms, remember your heritage, and stay strong."

Today was the day. My father was finally coming back home after four long months!

Every year the toughest and most tenacious men of the Suione tribe go on a vigorous journey to claim more land for the Vikings, and gather more food and supplies for our village.

My father, Chief Asmund, always leaves me in charge of our people on the journey.

To celebrate, their safe arrival home, all the women devise the largest feast we can offer. We all wear our nicest furs, beads, and wear our hair down. There's dancing, music, and drinking all day and night.

This time, the celebration was to be extra extravagant, because of our lack of food this year.

The Sweona tribe are well known around these parts for their trickery. Though they attacked other tribes, we managed to hold out against them, until now. This winter, the tribe stole over half our sheep, and our stockpile of dried meats. Though my mother and I have try our best to feed the tribe, those with big families have gone hungry.

Chief Ove III, is the leader of the Sweona tribe. I've heard stories from my father that he has the powers of Loki, the trickster god, aiding him in his thefts. He is said to hold the reins of demon wolves, a gift from Loki.
Because his direct ancestor was refused the title of cheif, he created his own tribe seeing that he reeked as much havoc he can on our tribe. Still to this day, the tribe haunts us.

We set warriors on posts to keep them from stealing more food, but everyday without fail, a days rashions is gone.

Today, we will finally have enough food to feed the tribe, and since our warriors are back, we can defeat them once and for all!

Yes, yes I know I said I would update once every week, but this week you get two. What can I say, I had a bit of extra time?

Anyway, I went to the aquarium today. It was so crowded. Seriously they need to limit the people allowed in there. Oh well.
