The Homestuck In Us

We've all got a little bit of Homestuck in us, whether you're short or tall, or whether you know about it at all-
Now check it:

We've all got a little bit of Feferi, right? We all wanna be a little nice sometimes,

And we've all got a little bit of John,
we can be optimists and see the good in everyone, the master of none, but still someone to rely on,

C'mon, see? That little bit of Sollux, remember that thing that you took pride in, despite the way, that other people say, that it sucks?

Remember those times when you were just like Jake? You didn't know you were making all kinds of mistakes, you tried, you tried and you tried again, but no one seemed to get it-
No one seemed to care,

Now I know that we've all got a little bit of Karkat, hatred exemplified in terms that were spat, our mistaken rage, disguising the way, that we care, we care so much it hurts, and no one is aware,

I know you've been like Dirk a few times, you want to hide, feeling like your crimes are magnified, even though that's not what people see, that's not what they get, they just see the coldness and are easy to forget, because at the end of the day, that's what you say,
you're so alone and no one can see, through the transparent wall that you've built so highly,

I know you don't believe it, but we've all felt like Equius, we get nervous, now, there's not much to discuss, you just needed someone to tell you what to do,
you just needed a push, but really, you never even know who to trust,

Come on! Tell me you've felt like Rose, when you pose, questions to which the answer is unknown, no one has the answer, not your family, not your friends, when it all comes down to it, it's something bigger, something that you never thought you would have triggered-
(Aw, come on Kankri, get out of here!)

Oh please, don't deny it, we've all been Vriska, we've hurt others unintentionally, duh, that's who we are, that's what we do, we just figure it's the others who don't have the right view,

Come on, yeah, you've been Roxy, I won't deny it, we're all a little bit foxy, sometimes we just want to sit back and relax, to forget about the world and stop dwelling in the past, yeah, we say that, but it's not that simple, when it all comes down to it, our problems have filled to the rim, so, we try to fix them; we try to fix everything, but by then it's too late and we've been thrown for a swing.

Okay, here goes, we've all got some Eridan, you and I both know it, don't lie, man, at the end of the day we all want to be loved, but because of that, sometimes we get shoved, that's when it happens; that's when we get so desperate, when people notice, they leave us all alone, desolate,

We all know we've felt like Jade, when literally nothing can rain on our parade, we smile and we laugh and we feel so alive, but on the inside we're restless, we can't wait for night, that's when we get to dream of a better world, one we control, the "imaginary" land of our minds where everything unfolds,

I'm not even finished-
There's so much more that I want to say, but I think you get it, I think you see that you should pay, some respect to these characters whether, you know em' or not, obviously, you have more in common with them than you thought, but if you don't believe me, that's fine, too, I'm just hoping some of my words got through, because, after all, at the end of the day it's up to you to trust, that we've all got a little bit of Homestuck in us.
