My Death Note

Chapter 1

    "Hi my name is Elisabeth. I'm 12 years old and am in 7th grade. I go to a middle school in Indiana called Batchelor. I have a brother and a sister. My parents are divorced and are married to other people. My hobbies are jewelry making, crafts, crocheting, writing, and singing. Is that all you need to know?" I tell the voice instructor smiling. "Yes a little more than I needed to know. Thank you I'll put you under consideration." He said as he checked my name off his list. I walk outside quietly singing a song I made up. It goes something like this...

    Yeah so it sucks whatever. Oh if you're confused about the beginning of this story I'll explain. I was getting an audition for an opportunity to get voice lesson from a famous opera singer. Whatever though you want to know about what's about to happen well hold your horses.
      I walked home singing the song I made up which shall now be called pain of love. I walk inside of my house and three animals jump up on me. My dog and cats. I push them off when my mom yells "Elisabeth sweetie I know you just got home but please take the trash out. Thank you!" I silently grab the trash and walk outside my house and putting the trash in the can. A weird black notebook catches my eye I immediately pick it up.
I know what it is without even reading the cover. 'Finally my chance to surpass Kira.' I think as I pick it up. Suddenly I see the shinigami. "Hi my names Elisabeth! Are you Ryuk by any chance?" I say. He stares at me astonished and said "Yes...you sure are a strange human. Do you think you can kill heartlessly like Kira did little girl?" I smile sweetly and take a bite out of an apple I pulled out of my pocket. "You don't know me. Oh quit your staring I'll get you an apple when we get inside. We don't want those symptoms starting up now do we?" I said.
     I smile as I see his reaction to the apple. He immediately nodded his head. I walk inside and grab all the apples on the dining room table. Then Ryuk and I go to my room. I toss an apple at him when we are in my room Death Note still in hand. He catches it and eats it in three bites. I smile knowing I have his attention. "So kid you a Kira worshipper." Ryuk says taking the last bite of his third apple.
    Disgust shown plainly on my face I say "No Light was a dim-witted fool. I used to be a follower of his but not after he got caught after dying. I saw him once." "Oh you saw him?" Ryuk said interested. "Yes I did. I was visiting Japan and went to play at a playground being 10. My mom wasn't there then. A man walked up behind me and started to lift my skirt and touch my privates. Light saw this happen. He and Misa wrote the mans name and he had a heart attack and fell on me. Kira then came over to check on me. I said I was fine and he left after ruffling my hair."
     Ryuk looks at me and then says "Oh I remember you now. You had your hair in pigtails and was wearing a I love mommy shirt." I sighed and said "Yeah I was." I then opened the notebook and read the instructions carefully. I think through the rules and have plans set out. I turn on my computer then lock my bedroom door. I type in Photo identification of sex offenders and rapist. Then I start writing down names.
     Ten minutes later my mom yells dinner time. I have written 287 names by then and am content. I immediately hide the Death Note and unlock my door leaving Ryuk to his apples. I walked downstairs and ate my food than return upstairs. When I return I have more apples for Ryuk. He stares at me and says "Kid who are you?" I sigh and say "I'm Elisabeth Kurosaki. I'm 12 years old and have several knives and guns. Oh and I have killed a person before. Answer your question?" He stares and says "Holy Shit."
        I smile and write thirteen more names and hide the Death Note again. Then I talk to Ryuk for 18 minutes before turning the tv on. The newscaster looked utterly terrified. I smiled. He then said "Horrifying news everyone there is a new Kira! I repeat a new Kira! 300 rapist and sex offenders have been found dead. They all died conveniently of heart attacks. Kira is back warn everyone. My name is... FUCK THIS! I am not going to say my name I quit!" Cheering could be heard in the background when the news of Kira was announced to everyone.
Ryuk stares at me in disbelief. "You wrote three hundred names in less than 11 minutes! Kid you let everyone know Kira is back!" I smiled and said "I know. I meant to. I want N's attention we are going to have the war of a life time." My smile turns to a wicked grin. Ryuk's surprised face turns to an interested face as I said this. He then asks "You know N?" I replied by saying "You could say that. You could say my stepdad was the one who made him an orphan to begin with. I even know his name."
