My Death Note

Chapter 8

       I woke with a start. I was in an unfamiliar bed in an unfamiliar room. Ryuk looks down at me and says "There are no cameras here." Then I realized where I was. "Good. I love you Ryuk." I say silently. I was glad my wheelchair was beside the bed. That's when I noticed a letter. "The funerals will be tomorrow. Do not attempt to go to work today. When you wake up breakfast will be brought to you. Just ask and you will receive. The butlers name is Huniku. -N" After I read this a butler came in the room.
"Hi you must be Huniku. My name is Elisabeth Kurosaki." I say. He bows and says "It's a pleasure to meet you. Here is your breakfast." He then pulls a cart with pastries, sausage, eggs, and other breakfast foods. I say "Thank you Huniku. Can you please bring me a change of clothes when you can? I can't walk and it's hard to get in my wheelchair." He bows and says "No problem Miss Elisabeth." "Thank you." I say again. I eat some food not a lot though. Huniku returns with some clothes for me then leaves the room.
I get dressed and get in my wheelchair. I was about to do what N told me not to do. "Huniku can you take me to N. I need to talk to him." I lie to him. He nods his head and takes me to one of the three limos. The one he takes me to has a mechanic ramp that helps me get in without getting out of my wheelchair. There is a wall with a seatbelt and Huniku shows me how it works. He then drove me to the meeting place and gave me a brand new phone.
"Call me before you leave miss." Huniku says before he leaves. I then enter the meeting place. My eyes were still puffy from crying but I had stopped crying along time ago. N noticed me first. "E what are you doing here I thought I told you no working today." N said quiet and calmly. "I won't work. I just don't want to be in the dark." I say. N finally lets me stay after awhile. Ryuk and I sat on a couch and listened to everyone. I then whisper Matsuda. Ryuk writes Matsuda's name in the Death Note quietly.
Soon Matsuda was clutching his chest. He then dropped dead. Everyone but I swarmed around him. "Is he okay?" I asked in a fake frightened voice. N slowly nods his head no and said "He's dead." I then fake rage and say "Shit. Crap. Fuck. Asshat. Bitch. FUCK YOU KIRA!" Everyone stares at me surprised except for N. Oh that's right they had never heard me curse. N has but not these guys. We silently call the and add an extra coffin to the funeral. Matsuda was perfect for a target and no one realized it was me either.

I cried as I said 5 different speeches about my now dead family. I then go to the crowd weeping. Then when the funeral was over I went to my new home with Nate. I went to my room in my wheelchair and locked the door behind me. Then I talked with Ryuk for a bit before I say "Why is your earring shaped like a heart?" He bit his lip before saying "My earring has always been like that. It symbolizes how unlike other Shinigami I shall find love." I smile and snuggle close to him and fall asleep peacefully.
     I wake up to the sound of someone knocking on my door. It was N. Ryuk releases me from his hold. I get into my wheelchair and unlock the door. I move back a bit and say come in. I'm surprised when it's the whole team that enters my room. I realize how bad I must look when the stare at me. My hair was a tangled mess my eyes puffy red oh and it was the next day and I was still wearing yesterday's funeral dress. N got in front of everyone and said "Do you want to work?"
       I try to smile and fail. I then just say "Do you need to ask me?" Then a cart filled with items pulled into the room. Suddenly everyone was staring at me again. I then say "What's the matter?" Everyone stares at me as N says "The cancer I moving more rapidly than we thought. Elisabeth did you feel anything?" I stare at him and say "No. Why what's the matter?" N stares at me left leg. So I look down at it slowly. My leg had a small pin in it and was rapidly bleeding and skin looked burnt.
       When I see this I go into a seizure. Everyone panicked and N called the ambulance. By the time the ambulance got there though I was fine. It was only a minor seizure. They removed the pen though and tended to my wound. Then they left. I then ask N a question. "Can we got out to eat tonight?" I ask quietly. He nods his head and I smile gently pain shown on my face. He left me room after a bit and I get dressed and write in my Death Note a little. Times and how my team dies vary.
       I will be the winner of this game.
