My Death Note

Chapter 9

     It was time for us to go out to dinner. I wore a necklace that held a needle and a scrap of the Death Note on my wrist. (I know I'm weird) N and I talk on our way to the same restraint we went to on our first...(shudder slightly) date. Ryuk and I had the perfect plan. I remember this place clearly but this time I really absorb the details around me this time. The windows were stained glass and the tables were elegant and carved to perfection. I can't wait to die I think to myself quietly.
      N looks at me and we ordered our food. We decided to get fondue. A cheese one and a chocolate one. We talk through out the meal when I say something. "Nate River how would you react if I said I was Kira?" I said. He stares at me slightly confused and says "I wouldn't believe you at first. It would explain a lot though." I smile and say "Well I'm Kira." He shakes his head no and says "Stop fooling around E we are not going to play this stupid game that you seem to want to play."
     I frown at his response and say "I really am Kira. You fool you thought I actually cared for you? No I want to be with my real boyfriend forever. It just happens you are not him." N then says "Give me proof." I open my locket and touch him with the paper. He sees Ryuk and says "Nice to see you again. So E who's your eternal boyfriend?" I smile and say "You're looking at him. You technically always have been because he never leaves my side. Now Nate River say goodbye." I then finished writing his name. He clutched his chest and I screamed as he died.
       Everyone looked at me and noticed N lying dead. "Is there a doctor here! Please someone help I think my boyfriend is dead!" I yell. I'm a pretty good actress. Everyone swarms around us when someone checks his pulse and shakes his head no. I then smile gently and say "As painlessly as possible I would like to......Dissapear." I then collapsed and closed my human eyes for the last time. What helped me die was knowing everyone close or investigating the case had died. I saw Ryuk with tears in his eyes before my eyes closed.

     I wake up chains around me and pain coursing through my veins. I'm in the Shinigami realm at last. Ryuk is nearby and he says "Hey E...just a little longer. They pain will be gone and you'll be a Shinigami and we can be together forever." There was pain in his eyes and I said strongly ignoring the pain "Ryuk I will always be yours no matter what. I promise." We smiled and the chains released me. I could instantly feel the change. I could feel my body morph into something new to me.

     I was finally a Shinigami. Ryuk hugged me when 4 Death Notes appeared in my hands. Along with one that says "How to rule the Shinigami Realm". I look to Ryuk with the Death Notes and other book. He suddenly bows down to me. I look at him puzzled. "My Queen." He says. I laugh and say "Ryuk I didn't think you were one for jokes." He stands up straight as he can and says "I'm not. You are the new Shinigami Queen. The king died awhile ago and we had to wait till a ruler apeared. It's seems that's you."
       "Stop kidding around Ryuk. Me a Queen? It's funny just thinking of it." I say. When he doesn't say anything I know he's telling the truth. "Ryuk you are serious aren't you?" I say. He nods his head yes. I then ran into his arms and said "Will you be my Shinigami King?" He smiles and says "Always." A black ring appears on my finger. He then carries me bridal style to a group of shinigami. When they see me they just roll there eyes. "Is that anyway to show respect to your new Queen!" Ryuk says furiously at them.
       They stare at me and started apologizing immediately. I hold my hand up and they shut up as I say nicely "Please don't do it again." Ryuk and I then go to a strange castle. We walk in and what I saw astounded me. It was my stepdad. He smiled and said "Hey E." I rush to hug him. I then ask him "How did you get here?" He scratched his head and said "Remember the night when I caught you two about to kiss. Well when I was talking to Ryuk we set up a plan and it worked." I smiled. My stepdad frowned as he saw the ring on my hand. I giggle slightly.

      The day was finally here. The day I wore a black wedding dress. The day I kissed my Ryuk bonding us together forever. Since that's how long we'll live. The day when we become husband and wife. We say our vows. Then we both said I do and kissed each other passionately. I have been the Queen since that day. I have always been in my Ryuk's arms ever since.
