Secret Admirer

Chapter 3

Addison POV (the next day)

"Sup Addie! Did you do your homework?" Aaron asked me as I walked alongside with him."Yep, I did!" I replied." Umm........Aaron, do you like anyone in school?" I asked nervously, scared of his reply. As I mentioned this, he tensed up." Uhh......I like this girl.......but, she have never notice me.........." Aaron replied, looking down.

"Oh, what's her name? Do I know her? How does she look like?" I bombard him with questions.

"Slow down, tiger. One question at a time, there's no rush" Aaron said. I repeated my questions again, hoping is not what I thought it was. Aaron looked nervous as he reply, "You know this girl, her name is Allison......." my eyes widened as he told me this.

Allison is the school's biggest nerd, she is one of my friends in school and she is really pretty. She has long brunette hair that is mid-length, her face is practically flawless except the freckles on her cheeks and she has a nice personality. She is basically the whole package.

"Aww..............my little Aaron has a crush! Yipeeee!" I cooed. "Shut up! Is not like is a big deal!" Aaron said as he tried to cover his blushing face. I gasped dramatically, "How can it not be a big deal when little Aaron has finally grown up!" Aaron rolled his eyes and entered the school.

I giggled quietly to myself and ran into the school.

I rushed to the cafeteria so that I could beat the crowd. While queuing for the food, I look around the cafeteria, trying to find Aaron. As I was scanning the cafeteria, I stopped at the popular table to see Jake staring at me again. I quickly look away and use my hair as a curtain to shield my blushing face.

"Addie! Phew........lucky you were queuing, I was afraid if you did not queue in time, we would be taking forever to get our food and I'm famished." Aaron let out a sigh of relief. I chuckled and shook my head,"What's up? Ms Trisha hold you back?" Aaron sighed and replied,"Yeah, that fudging teacher is trying to starve me to death, stopping me from my precious food."

I laughed and pay the cafeteria lady before collecting my food and went to find a seat. Aaron followed me along after buying his food and sat beside me. While Aaron was rambling on about whatever crap he is talking about, I was people-watching. And again, I spotted Jake staring at me. When he saw me looking at him, he smirked at me and turn back around and continue to eat. I slightly frown when he did that, but shrugged it off thinking it may be someone behind me.

The bell rang, signaling that lunch is over, I stood up but was pulled back down by Aaron."Are you sure there is nothing going on between you and Jake? Cause I think I just saw that was something." Aaron said seriously. I rolled my eyes in annoyance and said,"I already told you that nothing was going on between us! And I don't even know what you are talking about!"

Upon saying that, I quickly rush off to class before the late bell rang.
