I Will Never Let You Go

Tadashi

-Hiro-

Honey drops from the ceiling and throws her smoke bomb.

That's my cue.

I run into the smoke and look for Kabuki mask. In a second I sense the movement of the smoke.

There he is!

I raise my arm to punch, but then..

No..

It.. cant be...

Immediately I feel my eyes tear up.

"Tadashi?" I whisper.

"T-Thats not possible.." Honey said, sounding weak.

I draw back my arm and fall to the floor. I feel a mix of emotions coming in all at once. I clench my teeth and grab my alive brother by the shirt.

"How are you alive?" I say with tears falling down my face.

He doesn't respond.

"ANSWER ME." I yell at Tadashi's face. Then I feel someone gently touch my shoulder.

"Hiro" Vi said, searching my eyes. Immediately I let go of him
after a sigh.

I dont know if I should be sad that Tadashi was alive this entire time and never came to see me, mad of what he's become, or even happy that he's standing before me.

"How did you survive the fire?"

After what seemed like forever he spoke.

" I did die."

What?

"But someone with the power to revive the dead, brought me back to life. He trained me, to be a killing assassin. Every day I live for him. Do his dirty work. I have no memory of my past life."

I stay there frozen.

"Y-You mean.. you don't know who I am.."

He shakes his head, "sorry kid."

I can't believe it..

"One more question.." I can't believe I'm asking this.. "D-Do you actually love Vi?"

"H-Hiro!" Vi said as her face turned red.

Tadashi chuckled, "Why? Does it make you jealous?" Immediately he breaks away from the crystals holding down his feet and races past me.

"TADASHI- " Before I could finish my sentence Tadashi grabs Vi hands from behind with one hand and drapes his other arm on her shoulder.

"Get off of me!" Violet yells as she struggles to throw him off.

"Tadashi.. I suppose that was my name in my past life.. but thats not who i am anymore.." He pulls Violet closer to him.

"My name is Kai."

He sends me a devious smile.

"Get. Your hands. Off of her." I spit out as I feel my face get red with anger.

"Why should I. After all.." He sniffs her neck as she winces, "she's my bride."

I begin to run toward him "NO!"

"If you want her, come and get her. Tonight. Midnight. On the top of the Sanfransokeyo Skytree. And if you want me to even think about giving her back. Better think of a good reason why."

They vanish in smoke.

Tadashi..

"Hiro.. what are you going to do?" Honey asks.

"Isn't it obvious?" I clench my fist. "Im going to fight." She smiles.

I turn away and start walking. "Lets gather up the rest of the gang and prepare for battle".

Honey catches up to me. "Have you thought of the reason why you want her back? I mean, Tadashi said that you needed it for him to at least think about giving Vi back."

I stop. "Ill think about it on the way." And I start walking again to the exit.

You may be my brother Tadashi. But if you take away what's important to me.

I wont hesitate to fight for it.
