okay so like
i dont stand during the pledge. i dont even say it. you dont have to, and so i dont. plus its just not anything i care for.
so today i didnt do it, just like all the 9202029192 times. bUt today i was being goofy and had victoria's sweater on my head being a goofy lil kid beforehand.
and i couldnt get it off in time to put my hand on my chest at the least.

she walked up to me and i stg she was either high or crying. she just looks at me and "Can you NOT disrespect MY flag?!"
and i just told her "I wasnt..."
and she lost her shit. "Yes! Giggling and not standing up is disrespecting my flag!"
i was very tempted to just put that sweater back on my head and ask her about my rights.
we do not have to say the pledge, and i tried to not giggle, but i was in a good mood and couldn't stiffle it.
i get people feel deeply about their country but im not obligated to follow you're beliefs.
