frankie ro : okay

frank climbed the big tree adjacent to gee's room. he quietly climbed inside while gee was looking outside their window, eyes glossy from tears and cheeks dry. frank ran to them and hugged them close.
"do you want me to tell everyone about your situation so that they can distract you along with me," asked frank.
"yeah, i need more distractions."
frank and gee whipped out their phones and went straight to the group chat. frank wanted to see what gee was saying without snooping over their shoulder.

gee whiz ! : guys im scared shitless and frank came here, but i need more distractions.

gee was cut off by the sound of sirens. his mom was knocked out and then the house fell silent, even frank and themself.
"frank, i wanna go downstairs."
"baby, i don't think that's a good idea."
"i wanna see my mom, i'm scared."
"but, what about your dad?"
"ugh, you're right...my dad is a major fuckface anyway, i don't like him at all," gee spoke with a choked sob. frank held gee closer and kissed their head. one thing that frank never noticed after dating gee for a little less than a year is that gee's hair smelled like strawberries and cream. gee swung out their phone and kiked the group chat. they saw many notifications on the lockscreen. all of them were from josh, brendon, tyler, and billie. this can't be possible, gee thought. they muted the group chat. once they opened up kik, all 4 people PM'ed them. gee never thought that they were so important to the 4 kids.
