People look at the world
And see it crystal clear
But if you look at it through the eyes of a Dreamer
Then you see that the world isn't just black and white
You see it has shades of gray
And an array of colors
People see the world as how it is
But a dreamer sees the world
and where it could go
and what it could become
People try to find a bright side
Dreamers live in the silver linings of the world
They feel the pain
But they learn the lessons from the brutal mistakes
People try to live in the past
Dreamers will only leave them behind
Because they are living in today
These are the perspectives of a dreamer
Who sees beauty in everything she sees
