My alarm rang off at six, making me jump. I sighed and cleaned my self up before heading off to class. I felt all eyes on me as I walked down the halls of the school, I stuck out like a sore thumb.
Unlike most of the students at Ouran Academy I wasn't carrying a designer bag, talking on an expensive electronic, and I wasn't socializing with anyone. Instead I carried a worn down hiking backpack that I had been carrying since I was six, had no cell phone, and stayed away from any other sign of life.
According to the headmaster I'm supposed to be a third year here, so I stayed near the older kids, not going near those who looked younger than me.
"Miss, you appear to have dropped something."Said someone from behind me. I cringed as I turned around. There was a little boy standing there with a fluffy pink bunny and the picture of my family in his hand. I gasped.
"Thank you, I don't know what I would've done with out that picture." I said quietly.
"Your welcome miss!" He giggled. I gave him a short smile before turning to walk away. I had to get to my first class.
"Hey! Wait," said the little boy," Your new!" He said cheerfully. I turned around and nodded slowly. Suddenly, I was being pulled against my will to the great unknown. Why was this little kid here anyway? He couldn't be more than seven years old.
"Honey!" Someone yelled behind us. I turned to see a tall blond rushing toward us. I turned to the child that I could only presume to be Honey.
"Tamaki!" Yelled Honey, as he launched him self at the tall blonde. I stared as the both fell to the ground. I rushed to help them up but Honey was already laughing and giggling at Tamaki as he slowly stood up.
"Are you okay?" I asked him worriedly.
He looked down at me with a look content as he said," It makes my heart warm to know that a girl as beautiful as you worries about my well-being." I stared at him for a minute, unable to say a word. Did this guy just call me beautiful?
"Would you like to accompany me?" He asked, holding out a long slender hand. I cautiously took it, making sure I was able to escape at any moment.
"W-what about my class?" I asked him quietly.
"You are in the company of the king of the academy's host club, there's no need to be worried." He reassured me. We approached a two large wooden doors and he pushed them open, leaving me to be flooded in red roses petals and blinding light.
"Welcome to the host club, princess." He smiled as he handed me a lovely white rose. Where did he get this from? I decided to let him drag me any where as long as there were ways to escape.
"Your names Tamaki, right?" I asked.
"Well, of course. I haven't caught your name though my little princess." He smiled warmly down at me.
"Brooke. My names Brooke." I mumbled.
"Brooke is a beautiful name for a beautiful girl." He flirted. It was better than being called "princess" at least. He lead me towards a group of girls that sat around a small coffee table. ' Oh god, snooty rich girls.'
"Hello ladies, this is Brooke. She's new to Ouran Academy." He stated as we sat down. The girls studied me quickly before drowning me in questions.
"Where are you from?" One asked.
"What do you parents do?" Another one asked.
"What's up with the commoners backpack?" The final one asked.
"I'm from America originally but with my mom being so needed in so many places we moved around a lot. I've carried this bag for a while I'm just attached to it." I answered quickly. They all seemed to analyze my answer before moving on to Tamaki. I soon figured out that the host club is were attractive rich people come to waste time when they have to much time on their hands.
The host club didn't just consist of Tamaki and Honey, but several people. The twins, Hikaru and Kaoru, who had some form of incest that girls adored. Kyoya who was smart, punctual, and really strict. Haruhi who was obviously a girl, but that story is for another time. Last but least was Mori who was strong and silent. He never seemed to leave Honey's side.
( A FEW HOURS LATER)
"Night Brooke." Said Tamaki and the others as they left the campus. I had to lie and tell them I was staying to study. I hated lying to my new friends but it had to be done. I never want someone getting hurt because of my past.....
HEY GUYS I HOPE YOU LIKE IT!
