At supper, we had a big feast in honor of the O'Hares arrival. Pork Chops, potatoes, corn, bread, and much more. I sat in between Ryan and Benjamin listening to their conversation about football. They've been talking about sports for about forever that I would probably pick up on the games easily.

Once we were all done and waiting to be excused my dad stands up and looks down at Hannah with a big grin tapping his fingers against the chair like he's playing the piano. Whenever he taps his fingers like that you know it's something important and you need to listen.

"I first would like to start off with a big thank you to the kids." My dad says looking over at us.

"You've been getting along very well." My dad continued. " we decided it would be best that the O'Hares moved in!"

The whole table was silent and I'm pretty sure Ryan dropped his fork on the floor.

"What do ya'll think?" Hannah's perky voice chimes with excitement.

I look from Hannah to my dad multiple times before I finally realized they wanted us to have an opinion on this.

"I think that's a great idea dad," I say kind of slurry, like I drank 3 beers.

"I mean I guess that'd be cool to have another boy in the house," Ryan said trying to be chill about this.

I look over and see that Ben is pretty still. I honestly don't think he's moved yet.

"To celebrate, tomorrow we r going to the beach for a picnic so invite some friends." Dad likes our friends because they make events like this fun. Our friends also think my dad is the most chill dad ever... If only he was their dad.

After supper when we went up to our rooms I heard a knock on the door. Confused since no one knocks in my house (they just walk right in like there's not a care in the world) I got up and opened the door slowly.

Standing in front of me was an upset looking Ben. Confused on why he was upset I opened the door the rest of the way for him to come in.

"I can't move in." Was the first words out of his mouth.

"Umm, why?" I asked still confused.

He looked at me with a sad look to his eyes but also pain.

"I have 5 other brothers...." He says staring at the ground while playing with his thumbs.

Still confused about why he was upset I know why now he felt sorry. That means more than 3 boys in the house... That means...

"Do u have any sisters by chance?" I say trying to bring some joy in my voice.

He looks up from his thumbs and frowns. I'll take that as a no.

After a few minutes of sitting in silence, I decided to ask about the brothers because if I'm going to be living with them then I should at least know what there names where.

"U might wanna stay away from Cameron. He's kind of a man whore." Ben started off. "He's 18 and a football god. Next is Wyatt and he's my 17-year-old twin. We aren't very different at all but we aren't identical either. We both play football and he wrestles and I run track. Landon is the musical one of the group. He's 14 and very flirtatious like Cameron. And last but not least little Gunner. He's 7 and he has the mouth of a sailor!"

I look over at him and he's smiling at the floor probably relieved that he got that out of his system.
