I looked to see it was 5:30 I should start getting ready for the conferences. I gently moved Derek's head from my stomach and made my way to my dresser grabbing a pair of leggings, and socks. I then go to my closet taking a hoodie off of its hanger before changing. I put the hoodie over my sports bra, and put on a pair of Uggs. I put my hair in a messy bun before leaving my closet.

"Where are you going?" Derek asked sitting up.

"I have to go to parent/teacher conferences. I'll be back later tonight." I said grabbing my phone, purse, and keys.
I walk over to Derek giving him a kiss before walking out of my room and to my car. Melissa had to work so she's meeting me there. I still haven't heard from Scott, and I'm getting worried.

Ding

I looked at my phone to see I got a video text from Stiles. I opened the text app to see its a video that Lydia took at the video store. I paused it on the creatures face, taking a closer look I saw that it had red eyes. Its the alpha.

----

I pulled into the school parking lot and parked next Melissa. She got out once she saw me, but her eyes furrowed when she only saw me get out of the car.

"Where is Scott?" She asked walking over to me.

"I don't know. The last I saw him was this morning before first." I shrugged.

The first teacher we went to was of course Mr. Harris.

"Where the hell are you? Get to the school now." Melissa said into the phone.

"How about we get started." Mr. Harris said looking at the both of us.

To be honest I don't know why I'm here. I'm making "A"s and "B"s in all my classes.

"Sure." Melissa nodded with a smile.

"I have no concerns about Keegan, she's doing really well. But as for Scott, lately his mind has been somewhere else, as has his body. Personally I think it may have something to do with his home situation." I rolled my eyes as he said that.

"Oh, well, personally, I'm not sure on what you mean by 'home situation'." Melissa said sounding annoyed that he said that.

"Uh, specifically the lack of an authority figure." Are you serious right now?

"Yeah, I'm the authority figure, so..." She said.

"Sorry. Allow me to clarify." Mr. Harris smiled.

"Please don't." I replied rolling my eyes.

"I mean, the lack of a male authority figure." He said ignoring me.

"Oh. Well, trust me, we're much better off without him in the picture." Melissa said looking down.

----

Finally the conferences are over. Melissa and I were walking out to our cars.

"Come on." Melissa mumbled as she made her way toward Allison's parents.

"Excuse me, you're not Allison's parents, are you?" She asked when we got to them.

"I'm Scott's mom, and I hate to say it, but he's not answering his phone either." She continued.

"You're his mother." Chris said.

"Funny how you say that like its an accusation." Melissa said looking at him.

"Well, I wouldn't claim it as a source of pride, since he basically kidnapped my daughter today." Chris said annoyed.

"Chris." Mrs. Argent whispered.

"How do we know skipping school wasn't your daughters idea?" I asked stepping into the conversation.

"My daughter..." Chris trails off. "Is right there."

Melissa and I turn around to see Scott shutting Allison's car door. We made our way over to Scott.

"Where exactly have you been?" Melissa asked Scott seeming pissed.

"Nowhere, mom." Scott sighed.

"Nowhere, meaning not at school." Melissa said.

"Kind of." Scott said.

"Its not his fault." Allison stepped in.

"Its my birthday and we were..." She started to say, but got cut off by Chris.

"Allison, in the car." After he said that, there was a scream.

Everyone was running to their cars trying to get out of there as soon as possible. Scott, Allison, and I started to search the parking lot.

"Allison." I heard Scott yell.

I looked up to see she almost got hit by a car. When I heard a car collide with a body I ran over to see it was sheriff Stilinski.

"Oh my god. Are you okay?" I asked getting down on my knees.

"I'm okay." He said putting his hand up.

Sheriff Stilinski grabbed a gun from the holster wrapped around his ankle. As I was about to help him up we heard a gun shot. I looked up to see the shots belonged to Chris.

"I'll be back." I told him as he sat up.

I walked over to the crowd to see Chris, Allison, Scott, Mrs. Argent, and Melissa standing over a mountain lion.

----

We arrived home and I went straight up to my room. When I opened my door I saw Derek laying on my bed.

"There was a mountain lion running around the parking lot of the school." I told him taking off my shoes.

"Are you okay?" He asked setting up.

"Yeah, Chris shot it." I nodded.

I walked over to my dresser grabbing a pair of shorts, a bra, underwear, and a t shirt. I walked to my bathroom and took a shower. When I'm finished I dry off and get dressed, then I brush my teeth. I walked back in my room and get into bed laying next Derek.

"What happened earlier today, when I came to see you?" I asked looking at him.

"Kate, and two other hunters came to my house today. She shot at me once she found out I didn't know who the alpha was." He replied.

"You can stay here as long as you need or want." I said giving him a kiss before rolling over.

Before I went to sleep I felt an arm wrap around my waist.
