So I gave in! Here's a Steven Tyler fan fiction. I hope you enjoy!

This chapter is very short, but they will get so much longer I promise!

"Another day another shopping trip done." Mia laughs as we both slip into a fit of laughter, dropping our shopping bags on her bedroom floor.

I dramatically fall back on her bed, letting my feet hang over the edge. I look up at her ceiling, my leather jacket crumpled underneath my body from how I was laying.

"I don't think I've bought that much crap since high school." I laughed and she gave me a genuine smile shaking her head.

"We need to make a habit out of this." Mia says, sitting down on the bed opposite me.

"Can we get food? I'm starving." I whine and she laughs shaking her head.

"You always eat, and you never gain a damn pound. I'm telling you it's not fair." Mia says, shaking her head in the process. She stands from the bed pulling me with her. I laugh following her down the hallway, flicking my waist length brown and blonde hair from my face.

I walk down the all too familiar hallway, passing all the framed Aerosmith albums on the walls, and pictures of the band with many other famous people. Mia was the daughter of Steven Tyler, one of my all-time favorite artists. I lived and breathed Aerosmith. I had met them all, but never really had much of a conversation with any of them except for Joe. Mia's dad was always doing his own thing whenever I saw him.

I had been around since I was 17 years old, and we were now pushing 28. We had been friends through high school, and through me leaving New Hampshire, to go to college in New York for five years. Mia flew back and forth to see me, and I often did the same. I had been to countless Aerosmith concerts. Mia and I were attending another one in a few days to be exact.

I was more excited about this concert, because Aerosmith had invited Johnny Depp to play with them. Are you kidding? Johnny freaking Depp.

"Last one to the fridge, gets the sucky piece of bread." Mia shouts, and takes off running towards the kitchen.

"Oh hell no! Slow down you bitch!" I shout, running after her, laughter falling from my lips.

I pass her in the foyer and stick my tongue out, and running straight into the kitchen. Today just happened to be one of the days where the whole bad was here, and the moment I burst through the door looking back to laugh at Mia, flicking me off Joe was already cracking jokes.

"Damn Arizona, the food doesn't have legs." He said giving me a sarcastic smile. I flick him off and laugh as Mia shoves me when she enters the kitchen.

"She threatened me with the sucky piece of bread. No way in hell was that happening." I say and they all shake their heads at me.

"What do you girls have planned for the next few days?" Mia's dad asks, sipping his coffee, not looking up from his newspaper.

"Probably just hitting the lake, and Arizona wants to work on her music." Mia says, making me shoot her a short glare. I didn't mention my music to anybody really. The only people who've ever heard me do anything remotely musical are Mia, my parents, and Joe. Joe had only heard me play on a guitar though, never sing.

"Cooking up some new stuff?" Joe asks, sipping his cup of coffee.

"Yeah." I mumble, and he just shakes his head.

Mia rolls her eyes handing me a sandwich I hadn't even noticed she was making. I smile at her thankfully and take a bite of the sandwich.

"We're taking off in about half an hour to settle some thigs for our concert tomorrow. You girls have as much fun as you want." Steven said, placing a hand on my shoulder briefly and then hugging Mia. Joe locked my head in a headlock and rubbed his knuckles across my scalp and I groaned in protest.

"Hey now! Just because you're a fucking rock legend, doesn't mean I won't kick your ass!" I shouted after him, after he had let go and left the room. I heard their laughter follow back into the room and then the front door shut signaling that they had left.

"So what do we do?" Mia asks, and I smile pointing out the window to the sparkling lake. She immediately agrees.

I run upstairs to her room and grab my bikini from the bag of stuff I just bought and escape into her extra bathroom. I quickly strip from my clothes and change into the black bikini with fringe around the bust, and the sides of the legs. I walk from the bathroom a second later, Mia hitting me in the face with a towel. I laughed and followed her down the stairs and out onto the back deck of her house.

I waste no time in dropping the towel on the dock and jumping in the water loving the feel of the cold water rushing over me.

"So what are we wearing to the concert tomorrow?" Mia asked once we were back in her bedroom that night. I shrugged my shoulders in answer because I honestly hadn't even thought of it.

"I haven't even thought about it honestly." I tell her brushing one of my natural curls from my face.

"I haven't either. We have to figure it out though, the concert is tomorrow." She says and I nod my head in agreement.

"I need sleep first though, today has been fun and exhausting." I tell her and she agrees with me quickly.

"I'm going to go ahead and head home, and I'll come back tomorrow night so we can ride to the concert together. Cool?" I ask Mia and she nods her head in agreement. I stand up from the bed and pull on my leather jacket, and pulling my boots onto my feet.

I grab my phone from her bedside table and my keys off her dresser.

"Okay so I'll see you tomorrow around seven." I tell her and she agrees immediately.

I exit her room and walk down the hallway, glancing down at my phone for a split second before I ran smack into something, more like someone. I knew it was someone because hands gripped my forearms to keep me from falling over.

"Oh shit, I'm sorry." I say looking up to see Steven, staring at me with an amused smile on his face.

"Don't worry about it darling." He says with a wink.

"Okay, I'm still sorry though." I say with a laugh and he just shakes his head with a smile on his face.

His hands release my forearms, and I smile at him slightly.

"Goodnight Mr. Tyler." I tell him and he narrows his eyes at me jokingly.

"I've told you a thousand times, call me Steven." He says and I smile at him before giving him a wave and exiting the house, to my 1989 Camaro.

I hop behind the wheel and start it up, before backing out of the driveway. I immediately start on the journey back to my home just a few miles from here.

When I finally make it back to the small one-bedroom apartment, I'm immediately greeted by my black Siberian Husky Roscoe. His eyes were crystal blue and he was huge.

I immediately gave him loads of attention, putting his food bowl down on the floor before going into my bedroom and changing into a pair of shorts and a tank top.

I had never let Mia come to my apartment, because I was really ashamed of it. Her house was so much nicer and bigger than mine was. I was still living off of the salary I got at the coffee shop, which was barely anything. Not to mention the college bills I was still paying. I knew that she wouldn't judge me for it, but part of me didn't know that.

Even though she didn't live with her dad and was only visiting for the summer, her house alone was still much more impressive than mine.

She knew where I lived but never in the history of earth had she been inside. I plopped down on my bed, plugging my phone in before I curled up underneath my blankets, turning my lamp off.

Roscoe comes in seconds later and takes his spot at the foot of the bed. He never let me sleep alone. I was thankful he was such a protective dog, because this apartment was shit, and I knew he'd protect me from anything.

I fell asleep without a problem, knowing that I would wake up a few hours later and begin my day. A day that would mostly be spent trying to find a presentable enough outfit to wear to the concert tomorrow night.
