-A month later-

Today had been a rather uneventful day. With Steven running around doing things with Aerosmith, press related things that I couldn't be there for, and me having a short practice with Blake to go over our strategy and ideas for the remainder of the show.

The actual lives shows didn't begin for another two weeks. We had filmed all the battle rounds, and knockouts, and somehow I was still in it. I was ready to do my first live show. I was ready to hear the results of the show, but I knew that the process was going to be so much more fun.

I got back from the practice with Blake only ten minutes ago, and decided to spend the rest of my time playing with Roscoe and cleaning up my small ass apartment. That only took me a maximum of one hour.

I put the cleaners back in their place under the kitchen sink and walked the short distance to my living room before I sat down on the sofa with a huff. I was so bored, not at all used to being stuck in this small apartment.

Steven and I had spent every day of the last two months together. Today was the first time I wouldn't be with him, but I knew that I would see him tomorrow so I was okay with that. I glanced at Roscoe and decided that taking him out for a trip to the park seemed like a good idea.

I got up off the uncomfortable couch and down the hall into my bedroom. I changed into a pair of leggings, a sports bra, some Nike tennis shoes, and a light jacket. I grab his leash, my phone, keys, and his ball before heading back down the hall.

He spots the leash and is immediately sitting in front of me waiting to go. I smile clipping the leash to his collar and open the door. He runs out and stops to wait for me. I quickly lock the doors and we head down to the car.

--

When we arrive to the park, there are no other dogs around. I sit down on the bench and unclip Roscoe's leash before showing him his ball and giving it a toss. I smile as he darts after it immediately.

I do this a few more times before my phone rings. I pick it up immediately expecting it to be Steven. I'm proven wrong with I see my Mom's face on my screen. I hit answer immediately and place the phone to my ear.

"Hi Mom." I smile watching Roscoe play.

"Hi honey, how are you? You haven't called in a while." She says and I sigh.

"I know Mom, I'm sorry I've just been... busy." I tell her a smile popping onto my face as Steven crosses my mind.

"You sound happy.... Did you meet a boy?" She asks and I chuckle at her ability to read me like a book even from so far away.

"Maybe I did." I tell her and she gasps.

"What's his name? Tell me everything." She says and I chuckle.

"His name is Steven. I'll explain everything another time though Mom, I promise." I tell her and she sighs.

"Okay, he better be treating you good. Listen, I want you to come visit. I miss you, and you can bring the boy with you too, so I can meet him." She says and I smile.

"Okay Mom, let me see what I can do okay?" I ask her and I hear shuffling on the other line.

"Alright, well I kind of already booked you a flight for Friday at 3, and another one back on the next Friday." She says and I laugh.
