Mark's POV
Once all of my friends, Olivia, and I got home, I asked everyone what they wanted to snack on before they got crazy.
(NO I DIDN'T MEAN THAT KIND OF CRAZY)Olivia piped up and said, "How about breadsticks?"
I look at her with clueless eyes. "Where can we get some breadsticks?"
"Papa Johns," she answered, "They have delicious garlic seasoning on all of their breadsticks. I know you guys will like them."I looked at the others, and they all agreed to the idea. I sighed, "Alright, I'll be back in about 10 minutes with breadsticks!" I poke Olivia's shoulder. "How many boxes should I get?"
"Get at least two." she said, "There's about 10 sticks in each box."
"OK, thanks sweetie!" And I walk out the door with my keys.Olivia's POV
Once Mark left the house, I sat on the couch and just relaxed. Chica eventually walked over and put both paws on my legs. I rubbed her head, smiling.
"So..." I said awkwardly, "you guys want to watch a movie till Mark gets back or...?""How about we just listen to some music or do some karaoke while we wait?" Jack asks.
I start to become wide eyed. I am a singer, but I don't plan on actually presenting my talent to any of Mark's friends. I feel very nervous whenever I have to do something like this.
"Alrighty, I'll go grab Mark's karaoke machine." And I head over to his bedroom and roll it to the living room. I connected the machine to my phone with Bluetooth and asked what the boys wanted to sing. One of my picks was "Confrontation" from the Jekyll and Hyde musical. Personal favorite.
We all agreed to the one I had picked because it had the feeling of anger and such throughout the song, including sorrow. I decided to pick Hyde and asked any of the boys wanted to participate in being Jekyll. Jack eventually volunteered as tribute.
Once we got to the part where Hyde enters, I took a breather and sung quietly, eventually getting louder.
"Do you really think that I would ever let you go?" I sung with an evil smile, "Do you think I'd ever set you free?"We eventually continued for about five minutes till I heard Mark's car door slam shut.
"He's here." I said quietly. I turned off the karaoke machine and rolled it back into Mark's bedroom. I came back, greeted with the smell of garlic seasoning.*Time skip - 2 hours later*
Once everyone finished their food, we all got to bed. I waited till everyone fell asleep. I didn't want to suffer through loud talking while sleeping. I finally fell into deep sleep, still having the garlic taste in my mouth.
I wake up in an empty room with white walls and floor. I look around, wondering where everyone is.
"He doesn't love you..." a voice said behind me. I turn around to see a black body slithering behind me, I look forward again to see the face of... Darkiplier.
Dark was the evil side of Mark, and he terrified me. I had only one nightmare that involved him. He was going to do the exact same thing that he did before my parents died.
He made his way to face me. "It's been so long since I've seen your sun-loving face, Olivia..." he said deeply with a smile.
"What do you want from me, you monster?" I asked him with a stern look. He laughs, "Oh you know what I want." He lifts up my chin, forcing me to look in his blood colored eyes. "The only thing I want is your soul. Nothing else." he says to me, "Mark never loved you, nor does his friends do. You're forever alone."The white walls and floor start to turn black. I become wide eyed, frantically looking around for Dark.
"Well?" he asks behind me.
"N...n...NEVER!!!" I slam my feet down on the ground, causing the walls to produce light.
"I WILL NEVER GIVE MY SOUL TO YOU!! NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS!!" I scream at the top of my lungs. I shoot a bright beam at Dark and he screams in pain.I violently wake up in my bed. I'm breathing air, inhaling it in the process. I relax and grab my earbuds and phone. I plug them in and put on the song "Everything's Alright".
I lay my head down, listening to the song, humming it while I slept.
