Once we got settled into our booth, there was a set of sharpies near me. I was wondering when we were going to sign soon.
Then, the announcer started to speak: The doors will be opening now to bring in the people outside! Please be in your appropriate booth!
I got into my chair and prepared for the people coming for us.*Time skip - 30 minutes*
Once the doors opened, we were already signing away. There were so many people who were cosplaying. Some fans came up to me and asked to take a picture with them. I gladly accepted! I was so happy to see them here.
I then noticed some reddish hair. It looked barely combed, but I recognized that hair anywhere.
"D-Danny?!" I asked. He turnes around and looks at me. "Olivia!" he said. I ran up to him and hugged him. He hugged me back."I had no idea you were coming!" I said to him.
He laughed. "Me neither!" He noticed what I was dressed in. "Hey... why are you wearing a Markiplier sweat shirt?" he asked me. I smiled. "I was adopted last week, but I completely forgot to tell you."
He looked at me with a confused look. "By who?"
I turned around. "Hey, Dad! Can you come here for a second?"
Mark heard me and asked the people he was talking with to excuse him and walked to me.
"Danny, meet my new dad, Markiplier." I said with a grin. Danny's jaw dropped to the ground. "That's amazing!"
I giggled. Mark shook his hand, "Nice to meet you, Danny!" He said with a smile. Danny was practically screaming on the inside."Can I get a picture with you...?" Danny asked quietly. Mark nodded. "Of course you can!" I grabbed Danny's phone and let them prepare quickly for the picture. Once they did, I took the picture. It was perfect!
"Are you here to get things signed?" I asked Danny, giving back his phone. He nodded. "Yeah, I had some jacksepticeye t-shirts and fanart I wanted signed by Jack."
"I'm pretty sure Jack's with us!" I told him. "He has the other half of the booth."
He said thanks, and went to go find Jack. I was signing fanart and t-shirts from fans until this girl came up to me. I'm pretty sure I remember her from somewhere."Sign my art." She demanded. I looked at her with an annoyed look.
Can't even ask nicely... I thought to myself. I signed her art, then slapped me.
"Should've done it faster." She said. "I would've been the perfect child if you didn't arrive to that orphanage."
Then I realized. She was the girl who said those rude things to me before I was adopted.
"Please leave." I said to her, holding back my tears.
She snickered. "Aw, can't handle the truth?" She said.Mark's POV
I noticed that Olivia was on the edge of crying. There was a girl in front of her and wouldn't leave her. Olivia looked back to me with tears streaming down her cheeks. I got up and walked over to the girl.
"Leave her alone." I said to her.
She looked at me with a disgusted look. "I did nothing wrong."
I started to get angry. "Oh don't even start that with me. You're hurting my daughter's feelings, and I would like you to leave now."She walked away, looking back at me. She had some fanart in her hands, but she crumpled it into a ball and threw it away.
I looked at Olivia. "Are you alright?" I asked her. She sniffed, wiping away her tears. "No... I'm not..."
I hugged her. "I'll let you sit out for a while. I'm so sorry that girl got to you."
She hugged me back, grabbed her chair, and sat behind me, listening to her music.
Some fans noticed her crying. "Is she okay?" They asked me.
"A fan came up to her and hurt her feelings. I'm letting her sit back for a while." One of the fans got a box of tissues from their bag and gave it to her. "Hope you feel better!" They said.
She smiled at them. "Thank you..."Hopefully, the rest of the day will go well for her.
