Mark's POV
It's been about an hour, and Olivia already fell alseep. She's had a rough time these past two days, and she needed some relaxation. Especially after her secret was revealed, finding the address, everything.Jack sat in the passenger seat, Bob and Wade sat next to each other behind me, and Olivia sat behind Jack, sleeping on the window.
It's been a rough week for all of us, especially her. She's had enough nightmares of her own. I don't want anything else happening to her. She's my daughter now, and I want to keep her safe.
Olivia's POV
I was having another dream. This time, it had Abigail and I. We were in a white room. Her half was colored black while my half was white. She was crying tears of blood. She stood there in a puddle of red with her parents' corpses by her side."I'm... I'm scared..." she says to me. "What's happening to me?!"
I walk to her. Each footstep produces a white spot, which expands, consuming the darkness around her.
"I promise that everything will be alright." I put my hand on her shoulder, but she throws it off.
"You don't know what I've been throuh!" she yells. "I've been through so much, I feel like dying!!"
I take a step back, staring at her with worried eyes. I care for her, no matter what she's done, but she's angry at me. She thinks that I haven't gone through the kind of shit that she's been through. But, I have...My parents and brothers died in a fire over two months ago. I still remember how it happened, but I never knew how the fire started...
The darkness surrounding her consumes her. She starts to scream in pain and agony. I walk backwards, keeping my distance. Suddenly, a black tentacle grabs me. It tightens around my chest and picks me up. It's hard to see, but I see two white eyes staring at me with a big smile on its face. Its sharp teeth illuminate the dark.
She laughs like a crazy maniac. The darkness got to her, and now she's gone mad.
"You will be mine... FOREVER." She says in a demonic voice. I strangle with the tentacle choking me. "I don't think so..." I speak. A bright light consumes me, eliminating the tentacle. Abigail covers her eyes from the blast, then looks at me with huge eyes.
I show my true self, what the creature inside me was like.
I am a werewolf. I am already darkness's ally. The moon illuminates my wolf - like body, covering Abigail's demonic form with my shadow.
"I am already a demon's pet." I say, bearing my teeth. Abigail hisses and jumps towards me. I eliminate her by blasting bright light in her direction, consuming the darkness around her. She screams in pain as she disappears.
I violently wake up. I lift my head off the window. My teeth become fangs again and my bright yellow eyes are like flashlights. I rub my eyes and look at Bob and Wade. They're both on their phones listening to music. I look at Mark. He's driving and notices the light shown in his direction.
"Awake already?" he asks me as he looks at his mirror.
I relax and let my eyes and teeth revert back to normal. "Yeah." I said. "I had another dream."
Mark looks back into his mirror. "Well, tell us on the pathway, because we're here now."We park in the driveway of the house. It looked very, very old. And just from the smell, it's been abandoned since September.
"Why hasn't anyone cared for this house?" I asked. "It's been half a year already since it was abandoned."
Jack shrugged. "They might've owned the house before."Mark's POV
We arrive at the front door. Olivia stands close to me with fear in her eyes. I hold her close to me.
"Ready?" I asked her. She turns to me and gives a slow nod.She opens the door. It makes a creaking sound. The minute we view the living room, Olivia and I drop our jaws to the floor.
It's the exact same layout from "Emily Wants to Play"...
