SHERLOCK:
Sherlock was created in 2010 and even though it is 2016 hasn't even started its 4th season because the writers are bloody slow!
I'm kidding. I'm sorry.
This Sherlock is based on the novels by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle but it's with a twist. It's based in the 21st century. This version of Sherlock he is not a physocpath but a high functioning sociopath. Sherlock is played by the very talented Benedict Timothy Calton Cumberbatch (yes that is his full name)
Some of the classic characters are there. John Watson, Jim Moriarty (Hi!) Well done if you got that reference.
There have been cool episodes based on some of the novels. Hounds of the Baskerville. The Richenbach fall etc.
Throughout the show you won't be able to decide if Sherlock is a smart ass prick or a handsome smart guy.  Most of us were thinking at the start that he's a smart ass prick. Most of us.
John Watson was looking for a flat mate (apartment if your American) He runs into an old friend who thinks he knows someone he can live with. Guess who that turned out to be. Yes Sherlock. After a few months living together some crazy (but handsome) man by the name of Jim Moriarty (Hi!) comes in. He first attaches people to bombs and gives Sherlock some puzzles to solve, so he can save them. Sherlock NEARLY saved them all, except some stupid old lady who decided to describe Moriarty, which was ONE thing NOT to do!
In season 2 shit starts going downhill rather quickly. Sherlock gets arrested because everyone thinks that he did all the murders he solved. Then to make a long story short Moriarty and Sherlock have a face off on the roof of a hospital and Moriarty shoots himself and Sherlock jumps off the roof. Everyone thinks he's dead. But he's not. He returns. John is getting married to Mary and in the last episode of season 3 Mary shoots Sherlock and more shit happens.
Then there's a special and that's Victorian era Sherlock, it's very good.
That is basically it really. There are only 3 seasons. Not really much to talk about without giving too much away. Sorry
