There once was a boy,

His name was Roy.

He aced all his classes

He was geeky with glasses.

He was afraid of the crowd,

So he wouldn't be loud.

He did not want to speak,

So he never reached his peak.

He tried, and tried,

But never succeded.

Some social intelligence

Is what he needed.

Roy met a girl,

Her name was Pearl.

She wasn't shy,

She didn't want to pry.

She helped out at home,

She helped out in Rome.

She was always there,

She was never scared.

So she helped Roy,

That poor, poor boy.

Roy who wouldn't be loud,

And was afraid of the crowd.

Who wouldn't reach the peak,

Because  he refused to speak.

But then something changed,

Inside it changed.

Roy focused on Pearl,

Who taught him the role.

Roy was no longer shy,

He tried not to cry.

He helped out in school,

And he never was cruel.

Roy learned from Pearl,

The not so shy girl.

Social intelligence,

No longer a blur.
