Ah, Easter!
The time of egg hunts and new life and two precious, precious weeks away from school was finally upon you, as was all the teasing weather that you'd have preferred to leave in winter. Spring was great and all but visible sunshine with low temperatures didn't make for a good mix.
Still, it was getting better, and time away from the hellhole known as education sure did help. Unlike previous half terms, summers, or just every holiday in general, you actually planned to do things this break. Last Christmas, somewhere between all of the exams and tinsel you and a couple of friends had planned to go away together and now the time had finally come. In a matter of hours you would be on a plane jetting off far away from any responsibilities left over from the term. You and your classmates Gou, Makoto, Haruka, Nagisa and Rei were going to Jeju Island for a week; you could hardly contain yourself during assembly on the last day of school. The decision to go Jeju had been long, and hardly unanimous.
Rei wanted to go to London (something about how "The city was so charming for having sustained its beauty despite constant bad weather and a place fit for a Queen to live would be perfect for...") though everyone had agreed that any flight which had the potential to take half a day would be a waste of the limited time you had away from school. Nagisa wanted to go to Disney World in Florida, but the prospect of being forced into rides for seven days straight and having to live off of whatever sugary snacks caught the boy's attention quickly shut that idea down. Being the peacekeeper he was, Makoto suggested a trip to Jeju. It being an island, naturally Haruka was in because island meant water, which meant swimming. You and Gou had agreed as well; it sounded a hell of a lot better than constant rain or cavities. And so it was decided that you would spend your one week together on Jeju Island, South Korea.
The flight there wasn't too long, only about two hours actually. That didn't stop you from sleeping though. All the rest you had denied yourself during term time manifested into one long nap which you spent leaning on the shoulder of the person sat next to you, who just happened to be Makoto. Unbeknownst to you, Gou, who was sitting in the row in front of you spent the flight taking photos of the two of you on her phone. Haruka had requested some to be sent to him when you landed.
After the flight you all got off and went to collect your luggage. You, still being disorientated from your nap, could barely hold the one piece of hand luggage that the airline had allowed, never mind dragging the suitcase you brought. Makoto ended up doing it for you, but only for a while thanks to your incessant whining of 'I can do it myself!'-usually followed by a pout or stamping of feet. After jokingly brushing it off and saying that you were slowly morphing into a five year old,he let you do it. Speaking of five years olds, it's worth noting that after this experience, you and every other person in the airport made a mental note to never fly anywhere near Nagisa Hazuki; having to bear witness to two hours of screaming, crying and just general panic over losing a suitcase that just so happened to land on the luggage belt to the right of the one he was at (literally 10 steps away), was an experience that no one wanted to relive. Luckily a joint effort from Rei and a shop selling Pepero managed to calm him down.
After taking a taxi from the airport to your hotel, you checked in and headed up to your rooms where you decided to chill and unpack for the awesome week about to come

The day after, none of you were up for any high energy activities so you decided to head down to one of the many beaches on the island. Jet lag had caused you to wake up late but you still had the whole afternoon, which no one wanted to waste in the hotel indoors.
