Another Continent,Another Bad Boy... (Editing)

Part 10/Phone calls and mean girls.

After our talk last night with Emily,we fell asleep comparing hot actors,bottom line Theo James and Dave Franco won.
I think that me and Emily are closer now than ever.

As we are sleeping on the floor in the living room,because thats how we fell asleep after Emily bawled her eyes out,us eating ice cream and watching reality shows on tv.

I open my eyes to the smell of eggs and see Emily in my kitchen.
"Moring" i say.
"Morning sunshine" she smiles at me and continues with her work.
"What are you doing?" I ask.
"Im making you an ommlet."

"More like a pity meal." I say and Emily spanks my hand with a spatula "Ouch."
"It's not a pity meal,it's a thank you breakfast for telling me,and being my best friend."
I smile and say" The pleasure was all mine".

School was boring as ever and now me,Tucker and Emily are having lunch.
"Not even The Fault In Our Stars?" Emily asks.
"Nope." I say.
"The Notebook?Girls bawl at that crap." Tucker says.
"No."I exclaim and eat my sandwich.
"You monster." Emily says and i laugh.

"What are we talking about?" Caleb says and sits down.
"How Lara doesn't cry,like not even at TFIOS movie."Emily says.
"Damn Lara,that movie even got me."
"I'm just not an emotional person guys,you all sound like my mother.I't has to take a miracle to make me cry by the way."

"When was the last time you cried,even just a little"? Caleb asks.
"My grandfathers funeral i guess..."
"Which was when"? Tucker asks.
"When i was 12." I say and Emily face palms herself.

"It's not a big deal guys..."i start to say but my phone interrupts me.
I check to see who is calling me and my heart rate instantly picks up.
I look at Emily whose eyes have widen and i answer the call.

We talk with my dad for a while,before he manages to say something that pisses me off,and then I say something that gets on him nerves,before we both end up yelling.

As i say the last words with a loud voice,i end the call and slam my phone on the table.
All my friends are looking at me.
"So that was me angry in a different language ." I say and put my head in my hands.

"Are you okay Lara?"Tucker asks.
"I'm fine,it's just my dad,i don't wanna talk about it." I say and look at Caleb who is scowling at me.

"Okay...so our parents are doing the BBQ thing tonight." Tucker says.
"Whats that?" I ask.
"Since our parents all know each other since forever,they all gather like once a month and have dinner and we all have to be present." Caleb says.

"Aw thats so sweet,they are still friends." I say.
"Yes,and my mom said you can come too,they are all dying to meet you." Emily says.
"Oh,okay..."
This should be interesting.
"Well me and Tuck have french class,see you guys later." Emily says and they both leave.

"Are you really okay?" Caleb asks me with concern on his face.
"I'm fine." I say and smile.
"You know you can talk to me right?" he says.
"Can i?" I ask.

"What the fuck is that supposed to mean?"
"Nothing,nevermind."i say.
"Right." He says,gets up and leaves.
"Caleb wait..." I say but its to late.

After my last class i walk up to Caleb,who happens to be putting books in his locker.
"Hey.." I say softly.
"Hi princess." He says.
Thank god he isn't angry anymore.
"I'm really sorry about earlier,i was mad and..."i say before he interrupts me.
"It's cool Lara,i don't care." He says and smiles.
Ass.

"I have to go,but by the way,you sound a lot more sexier when you are angry in Italian,see you tonight." He winks at me and leaves.
This is all my fault,just as he starts to care i judge him and push him away.

As i am walking out of school,i'm checking my phone for any messages and bump into someone,when i look up i see a beautiful girl with dark hair and blue eyes.
"Oh sorry." I say.
"You should be a little more careful." She says while chewing her gum.

"i said i was sorry." I say coldly.
"You are the new girl Caleb has been messing around with right?" She says.
"Excuse me." I say.
"Oh honey,you don't really think he is interested in you right?" She says.

"Who the hell do you think you are,talking to me like that?" I say angrily.
"Katherine,and you should thank me,i just saved you a lot of time." She walks away and i hear the sound of her heels clicking.

Who wears heels to school?

"What should i wear Em?!" I ask.
"Just wear some shorts its hot tonight." Emily says looking at her phone while lying on my bed.
While i am having a heart attack trying to decide what to wear.
"So all your parents can disapprove?"

"Lara you aren't meeting your husbands parents for  gods sake,our parents are gonna love you." She says.

I sprawl on the bed next to her and sigh
"There is something else...." I say.
And i tell her about Katherine.

She laughs and says "Once a bitch,always a bitch."
I just stare at her indicating to continue.
"She was friends with Nita,and was jealous of her and Caleb,and now that she can't have him,she is acting like a 6 year old." She says.

"So just one of Caleb's fangirls?" I say and Emily laughs.
"Why would she even think that anything is going on between me and Caleb in the first place?"

She raises her eyebrows at me and says
" Seriously?"
And i just stare at her in confusion.
"He cares about you,and talks to you,and he changes around you,he isn't   a complete ass around you like the other girls,you are different to him."

"Why?" I say quietly.
"I don't know." She replies.
I sigh loudly and and flop back on the bed.

"Just wear that cute white floral dress."she says.
"Yes!" I shout.

And we drive to Caleb's house.
