Prologue (or, how the Drunk Driver thwarted his plans of survival)

It had all happened so fast. He was driving slowly on a deserted road, not really paying any mind to the wind whipping through his hair because of the pulled down roof of his black convertible and the dull breeze of warm air that the A/C provided. He wasn't paying attention to his sleeping boyfriend in the passenger seat, too drunk to speak a sentence and to sad to bother waking up. No. It was just him, the road, and his headlights pointing a way towards a better life. He wouldn't caught and wouldn't get blamed cause he was too far away.

That all changed when a car sped out from the woods that surrounded the road, racing with reckless abandon towards his black convertible. Its driver didn't seem to care that with its speed, it would likely demolish the car. Its driver didn't seem to care about the two innocent lives they were about to take if they didn't stop soon. Closer. Closer. Closer. Now!

Too late.
