Bones cracking, limbs aching I let out a strangled cry as I shifted, been awhile. Now, here I stand on all four's in front of a proud looking Jess. My brown fur, that i've missed, I rapidly shook my body to get rid of any dirt, in my coat of fur.

"Ah, look how big you've gotten I must say I'm proud to be the instructor of one of the many Alpha's" Jess said while placing her hands on her hips with a triumphant smile on her lips.

As a response I pranced around the room hearing my howl for the first time in awhile. You see, the one good thing that my Mother ever gave me, was this. The wolf in the family was very rare, considering we were the last of our kind, the strongest. My grandmother had it, and hopefully passed it to her daughter, but my Mom didn't get it, instead I did. It was one thing I was proud of, even if it was a secret I had to keep, it was my responsibility to keep the family name, now I'm Alpha of our high ranking pack, as well as the last with our generation.

"So, how does it feel" Jess asked barely crouching down to meet my big hazel eyed gaze. I let out a loud howl, and wagged my tail rapidly, she chuckled.

"I bet it feels great, but sadly we need to talk so, please shift back, mutt." she smirked, while standing back up, mentally rolling my eyes. I felt the familiar feeling of my bones cracking and limbs changing, finally becoming the weird human I was xP was I missed? No, well ok..

"So, you're a bodyguard for a boy band now" I nodded as we made our way down the long corridor to her office.

"Yep, pretty cool lads, you'd like them" she let out a dry chuckle.

"Alex, i'm 36 years old, I don't think so" I rolled my eyes while making my way to her oh so glorious mini fridge grabbing a Snapple.

"You just have to be an old flipper now don't you" I said while crossing my eyes, and sticking my tongue out at her, she chuckled and sat down behind her desk and putting her feet up.

"Guilty, sue me" I smirked.

"It would be my pleasure"

"Yeah yeah" she said while waving her hand, well. "anyways Alex, we need to talk about them" I sat down in one of her office chairs, which are very uncomfortable.

"What about Jess" I asked while putting my feet up to sit criss cross on the chair, weird I know, but I mean come on, it's me. She sighed and put her hand under her chin while looking at me dead in the eyes. I shifted under her hard gaze, but stared back.

"When they are in danger Alex, your inner Alpha will come out to protect them, it's instinct, and so it's up to you" she sighed while dropping her hands at her sides.

"It's up to you to tell them or not" she's right, when someone i'm protecting or anyone close to me if something happens, my inner Alpha screams at me to change, and protect. I sighed while running my hand through my hair, if I tell them they have to keep it a secret, and this secret isn't small, at all. I hesitantly looked back at Jess, who looked just probably like I did, completely unaware of what to do.

"I'll do it Jess, I trust them" with that I threw my Snapple bottle away and made my way around her desk to give her a bone crushing hug, which I could, my strength as an Alpha is unbelievable.

"Good luck" she whispered in my ear, I smiled and made my way out her door, to tell the boys my secret.

Lord help me now. 

I sighed as I started walking to the hotel which wasn't that far, so I just left my motorcycle at the "Agency" how will the boys take it? how am I gonna tell them? These were the questions I didn't know how to answer, and before I knew it I was in front of the very tall and luxurious building, walking through the lobby doors I smiled and waved at the old lady at the front desk, which she kindly returned.

I pressed the elevator button waiting for it to open, as it did I stepped in and shakily pressed the button to the 32nd floor. The elevator dinged indicating I was on my floor I made my way down the hallway and stopped at our door, I glided the key through the lock, and pushed the door open immediately hearing the boys yelling at each other, I laughed as I made my way into the living area where as I thought, was a Playstation...boys.

Liam, Niall, and Louis were on the couch shoving each other, while Harry and Zayn were laying on their stomachs on the ground yelling at the TV, and Paul was leaning against the wall looking like a tired Dad. Paul looked up and relief flashed through his eyes.

"Boys Alex is back" with that the game was off and I was on the bottom of 5 fatties...joy

"Alright fatties release meeee" I said while shoving them off.

"We are not fatties" Louis yelled while putting his hands on his hips, sassy I rolled my eyes and poked his stomach.

"Sure, but I have something to tell you guys and Paul" I gestured for them to sit down which they all did.

"What's this about Alex" Paul asked while looking at me with curioustiy.

"Yeah is something wrong" Liam asked with a bit of worry in his voice.

"Just i'm going to show you something and you need to keep it a secret and please don't run off" they all nodded but looked kind of frightened. I sighed as I stood in the middle of the living area getting down on my hands and knees.

"Alex what are you-" I cut him off by flicking my eyes up towards all of them, which were currently red. I huffed as I focused on my Alpha. Then the familiar feeling of my bones changing and limbs aching, there I was standing in front of all of them as my Alpha, as my wolf, as Athena.

I ruffled my fur before looking at them, they all looked terrified, I slowly made my way towards them but they shrunk back in their seats. I let my tongue hang out and wagged my tail wildly showing them I wouldn't hurt them.

Paul hesitantly rose to his feet  and made his way towards me.

"Alex, you won't hurt us will you" I shook my big head from side to side causing my ears to flap against my face.

They chuckled, I walked towards the boys and plopped down in front of them, and changed back.

"I know this is a lot to take in, but as cliche as it is i'm a wolf, Alpha actually and part of the strongest generation but i'm also the last since my Grandmother passed away, so I have to take the responsibility but, since i'm protecting you boys my inner Alpha would've screamed at me to chage if any of you were in danger, so I chose to tell you, and so that's my secret, i'm a wolf.

They all jumped from there seats and surrounded me, including Paul.

"That's so cool!" Niall yelled, I smiled thank they didn't want me to leave, or anything like that.

"We won't tell anyone Alex, we promise" I trusted them, with everything. I smiled at them.

"Ok, group hug!" I yelled so here I was squished between One Direction and Paul, trusting them with my biggest secret, that nobody knew.

"Oh, and since you know would you mind if I shifted again, I really need to" I wasn't lying I haven't stayed  shifted for awhile and I need this.

"Of course, you're like our over sized dog" Harry chirped I simply slapped his head and shifted laying down curled in a giant ball in the living room floor with the boys all stroking my back while they watched TV, surely but slowly, I drifted off to sleep with my large head in Zayn and Paul's laps.

So I feel awful for not updating I've just had writers block I guess, but here we go new chapter, hopefully you guys like it, and I tried making it long, hopefully it is!

Annnyways, how are you guys!? haven't talked to any of you in awhile, the sadness :c I was Wattpad deprived! Pretty excited though, i'm going to South Carolina to see my brother xD but, don't worry i'll update, and if I don't by all means...
