The buzzer sounded and everyone took off, running as fast as they could to the pile of supplies in front of us. It was the ultimate blood bath, growling echoed through the air, metal against metal rang through my ears. I didn't make a single kill I was to focused on getting what I needed and getting to safety. I could tell Scott was also. I watched him grab what he needed and take off.

Lydia's POV:
I slung my knives at people's throats, missing some and hitting others, I didn't pay any attention to who I hit and who I didn't. As soon as I grabbed what I needed I turned to run but something stopped me, I looked out the corner of my eye watching a body fall. Turning my head fully I got a glimpse of the person, she was a short girl about my height with beautiful chestnut colored hair, and beautiful brown eyes. But it wasn't long before I could tell fully who it was and it made my heart shatter. It was Cora, my secret lover. No one had ever known about us, we'll no one except for that two timing trader Allison. We had always kept our relationship a secret and now, I had just watched my first love die right in front of me. I dropped my things and rushed to her body getting a closer look at her wounds, one of the wear wolves had clawed her throat out, her blood spewed over my clothes and hands. "C-Cora, s-speak to me!" I said chocking out sobs. Her almost lifeless eyes looked looked up at mine, she gave me a weak smile gasping for hair "a-avenge m-me l...Lydia...aven...avenge me..." She said, her voice fading with each word until it was no longer there. I shook her body gently "Cora.. Cora wake up, Cora wake up! You can't die! You can't!" I cried, then reality hit me. She was gone, my first love, my best friend. She was dead, the games had barely started.. And she was already dead. As much as I wanted to I couldn't bring myself to scream, all I could do was sob over her lifeless body, but it wasn't long until a pair of strong arms ripped me away from her and dragged me into the woods. I could tell it was Stiles, he didn't ask any questions he just continued to carry me as I cried. I now knew that it was my destiny, I had to do it. I had to avenge her no matter the cost.

Allison's POV
Once I saw the hurt in Lydia's eyes my heart broke. I had always known about her and Cora, how deeply they felt for each other. Sorta how Scott and I used to be. It made my heart ache, seeing my used to be best friend watch her first love die right in front of her, die of a bloody gory death. I did my best to shake the thought away, I couldn't let what I just saw affect me, I couldn't let my guard down. I clutched my things tightly and crept around the woods quietly until I finally managed to find a near by cave hidden in some bushes. I peaked my head in seeing it was empty and took the advantage to hide inside of it. I stayed hidden in the shadows keeping quiet from everyone. In the distance I saw two boys in a tree, I couldn't make out clearly who they were but I didn't bother to find out, I knew it would be to risky.

Liam's POV
Mason and I had both been ditched by our partners but we didn't care, we had each other. We had been best friends since elementary school and even when we were separated into districts we still kept our promise to stay friends the two of us were bound to kept each other protected no matter what. "Hey, Liam. What do you say we ditch this tree and find a different place to hide, I feel like we're to out in the open. Too easily seen." He stated. I looked around our surroundings seeing what he meant, "alright but we gotta make it quick, we don't want anything to happen." Mason nodded and we both climbed down landing flat footed on the ground. The two of us walked but there was nothing, I was about to speak but I stopped getting a sense that we were being followed, I looked down at the tracks but there was no scent "Liam, what's up dude? You okay?" Mason asked standing in front of me. I looked back at the cave that we had passed but I didn't go back to it "someone's following us." I stated. Mason raised a brow at me before turning around and continuing to walk forward. It wasn't long before I saw a tall figure with blonde hair land in front of him, "Mason! Ru-" but I was to late. I had gotten a closer look  at who it was, it was Erica. She had her claws in Mason's back and she was slowly piercing them through his stomach letting his blood seep into a pool beneath them both. My eyes lit up turning into a golden/yellow color, my fangs started to show and I growled scaring the birds out of the trees. She smirked at me and dropped Mason to the ground "come at me, little boy." She said with a cocky grin. As soon as I went at her someone had already beat me to it, an arrow came flying out of no where hitting her directly in the throat. I looked back and saw Allison drawing her bow down after Erica dropped to the ground.

Allison's POV
Again, I had saw it again. I saw someone lose a close friend right in front of them, I couldn't take it, so I did what my instincts told me to do. I shot her in the throat with my arrow. I watched as Erica laid lifeless blood shooting out of the hole in her neck. Liam looked at me going back to his normal self, "go." I told him. I watched him walk over to Mason who was fighting for his life. I watched as Liam tried to take his pain but Mason only flashed him a weak grin "y-you'll always be my b-best fr-friend. I b..believe I-in you. W-win f-for me." His voice slowly faded. I watched Liam slowly drop his body. He looked at me with tears in his eyes before running off, I didn't bother to follow. It wasn't long before a hologram of both  Erica and Mason, it showed what districts they were from and who had killed them. I felt my stomach twist in knots when I saw 'killed by: Allison Argent' under Erica's name. Two more canons went off signaling everyone that two more deaths had happened. That meant 11 were down and there were 13 more of us to go, and I knew it would no longer be this easy.

((2 chapters in one day ☺️ for the record if you guys don't like what I did with Lydia and Cora well....that's to bad get over it. Other than that I hope you guys enjoyed it! I'll get 10 up as soon as I can! ❤️))
